Problems with 2.1 Update

Heyho! i just downloaded the 2.1 Upadte.

Here is the problem: when i start Exilebuddy as soon as i selected the process PoE and EB freeze.
after a short time EB close itself but its still in the process list.

And i cant close PoE anymore i have to restart the PC.

Running on Windows 10
PoE Steam Client

Log is attached but there isnt much to see i guess.

What type of AV are you using? Nothing is shown in the log really, but I'm on Steam right now, but I use windows 8.1.

Try re-running the Buddy Wizard, and if you aren't using a clean install do so now.

I just wanted to reply to this thread.

I also had the AV in mind.
I got Kaspersky and it seems Kaspersky is the Problem.
I diesabled Kaspersky and now its running fine.
Ill make EB and PoE a trusted Program later to look if that works too.

Wait so is Steam supported now or not? I'm getting unsupported client version error O_o

edit: someone hit me with a stick pls, i'm stupid. Tried executing from the "non-beta" version of EB =) shoulda checked the folder ;P

Ok i double checked everything now.
Kaspersky ans EB dont seem to like each other. :D
I have to disable Kaspersky to start up EB after that I can enable it again.

Adding EB and PoE as trusted programs doesnt work.
 
Also: To close out of PoE WITHOUT restarting your comp, if the client is frozen.
Press: Control + Shift + Escape

go to "Details" tab if on windows 10, "Processes" on others.
Find "PathofExile.exe"
Right click on it, then click "End Process"
Click Ok.

It SHOULD force end the process for you to try again.

WIN+R (Flag key) > cmd > taskkill /f /im pathofexile.exe

This should also do the trick
 
Steam is supported, but I guess when you last tried, it was when the 2.0.1.9 patch was released, so EB was out of date.

Any client patch requires a physical bot update, for user safety and due to how this game changes on a regular basis, so there'll be some downtime after each patch where the client changes are checked over manually.
