Plugin Equipshit?

What happened to this plugin? It was far better than the stock one?
 
Same, shame I posted a mod for it too to work for hunters untill wowhead remove intellect from their weightsets
 
Oh no! Hope it hasn't been pulled. It was so much better than autoequip
 
Anyone remember who made it? I'll ask them if i can repost!
 
it was removed because some people felt the name broke forum rules, and where unhappy that since that broke forum rules and was not being dealt with, they felt as though they should of gotten a free pass as well. (that we only deal with some things and not others) so since they are right, it was against forum rules, i had to remove it, and notified the developer to please change the name and re post it. but of course he has not.

while i hate having to remove perfectly good projects, rules are rules. and its becoming increasingly apparent, that if i bend the rules for one thing, that im going to be called "Corrupt" and "unfair" by others and that's not good.

so to sum it up, People complained, forum rule broken, I removed.

That really is a huge shame. It was such a good plugin.

Is there no "at admin/mod's discretion" clause in the rules? Shame user1 can go rabble rabble rabble <insert personal vendetta> and user2 can be directly affected by it.
 
hmm, sorry about that. but the decision was right IMO. i hope the dev will rename and repost it cos it really was a good piece of work.

there is in the main forum rules, in the announcements section. but apparently if i don't treat everything the same then im corrupt and abusing my power. so thats just how its going to be handled. everything done by the book.

Thanks for letting us know why it's gone, shame that the name that was picked was not politically correct to start with .... lol
Maybe he will change the name to EquipStuff :)

+ yes I hope the dev puts it back up also, shame for the community to lose this bc of a (rock<supermod>hard place) kind situation.
 
LMAO = a software specificly designed to break rules/TOS is so anal about rules..........maybe Bossland should implement a proof of age policy 21+ so the children won't be offended by adult words.
 
I agree to a point, I mean it wasnt even a very explicit profanity. But I guess rules have to be applied and applied without exceptions else it could turn into a huge troll fest.
