my wife's account is up to panda. no wod
when legion drops, the bchest will include wod
will she get wod for free? since they will no longer sell wod by itself?

i think i remember some of my accounts getting upgraded back when cata dropped. and i know all old bchests get the upgrade whether listed or not. just can't remember if existing accounts get upgraded

The battle chests are if you don't have an account at all. When she buys legion, it'll put her to legion. All that matters is >= current version and you get all previous. For instance, if she had BC and you bought her WoD, she would get everything in between.

Going off of that, I wonder if you buy legion now, if it gives you WoD? I am assuming so, but unsure.
