Hello,

While we wait for HB update...

How are you preparing for Legion?

Is it important to keep your garrison active (followers and naval missions) ?

If you wanna get the heirloom stuff and the Gladiator Sanctum titles, then it is important. If not, then I don't think garrisons will have any impact whatsoever on Legion.

Gold Cap

Level all alt to level 100

Also it not important to keep your garrison active

leveling all to 100 would be prio

having these profs max always helps out: enchanter, tailor, mining, herb, skin

Garrisons will become old content, I believe its been stated by Blizz that they will nerf gold made from it or some such to make it effectively worthless.

For me, I am concentrating on seeing out as much raid content as I can on my main. Also getting achievements and mounts when I am bored. Getting my healer decently geared so that if I decide to switch mains I can. Finally I am working on a way to make myself enough gold to be comfortable, as I've always been poor in game :(

On my other account which I have just reactivated, I am going to try out a few methods to see which makes me a steady stream of gold. This will be used to purchase game time, so that's my initial goal.

I am leveling characters to make money and to get different names.

Making Gold (3 times goldcap so far through sellruns once a week) and jumping in my garrison.

wooow... 100k every week ? i've farmed 200k by selling felblight... but it took me like 3 weeks

You just make 100k from selling mythic? I think your guild leader screws you. We make 300k (Edit: per person) and we only sell one day a week (1 times master loot plus 8-12 times archimonde only [HEROIC!!]).

da fak......how does this sellsrun work/cost for 1 player ?

Depends on how much work people want to put into it. Essentially they advertise that they will sell runs for a certain amount of gold, you pay them, they do then run, GG.

Some guilds have characters on other realms to collect gold so they can expand their market.

Pretty simple, we're a squad of 15 ppl all around ilvl 725-740 and boost 3 guys master loot and after that 7-8 ppl per archimonde kill, giving us a total of 4.0-5.0 million gold. (1.2 mil for master loot and about 400k per archimonde kill)

Leveling 3 accounts to 100, gearing 33 toons in Tanaan, still upkeep on Garrision, mainly for posting on AH, still decent prices on my server for crafting reagents

Didn't know we had to be prepared, but thanks for the heads up!

So far I'm well over half way to my Legion Goals.

All 13 of my 100's are

710+ Pve Ilvl
735+ Legendary Rings
Level 3 Garrisons with Gold Bonus Followers with Fully Upgraded Ship yards With Oil Rigs (Plan to still use in legion since we have a hearth)
310 Flight

Still working on Gold cap but that wont take long once I quit Spending Gold Just spent 600k last week alone.

The only thing to prepare for is the eventual need for gold, either as a sell/buyer or a person that bots to see the game. Gear is nice to help you get ahead of the pack if you are one of those people but probably not needed judging by the way Blizzard has done most quests in recent years.

I disagree I went from full Heroic SOO gear to 98-100, Giving me more items to DE and less time swapping gearing while leveling. Gold is Nice but when leveling its not really needed. I didnt have alot when WOD came out but from questing I had more then enough to get started.
