Hello everyone
I wonder if there is some1 who buy WoW tokens for their bots instead of buying gametime from world of warcraft shop.
I think most people can agree that blizzard has different filters for different types of accounts. These filters can be but are not excluded to: ore mined / week, dungeons completed / week, BGs / week etc etc...If you hit one of these filters you get an automatic ban.
And what are these accounts?
Scroll of Ressurection: has the narrowest filter, i.e you cant really bot at all. Maybe bot 3 dungeons per day and you're fine. But if you bot 5 dungeons or you gather ore for 5 hours a day you are screwed. Automatic filter ban.
Battlechests: You can survive longer on these accounts than you can on the SOR ones, but still they're quite narrow and blizzard tightened it a lot 8-9 months ago.
WoD accounts: Blizzard dsnt really wanna auto-ban real players by mistake, and 99.99% of the real players that will hit a filter by mistake are WoD players, not BC players. Thus the filters are probably even looser.
In my opinion is that when you buy a WoW token you move your account one step up in this chain. If you had a WoD account you go to BC level, if you had a BC level you go to SOR. If you had a SOR, well...you wouldnt be able to get those 50k gold in the first place
I've bought maybe 20-30 wow tokens, every time I've done it has resulted in a ban the next day on the BC accounts.
If you buy them on WoD accounts and bot casually, it's probably safe though. But if you farm for gold like a pro, you're probably better off not buying them.
