I've tried running a number of questing bots with little to no success. I keep getting the same error message.

Please follow the instructions here, and let's eliminate this as a possibility:

The system has too many 'temporary' files​

Then,

1. Let's flat out delete the .../Honorbuddy/Settings/ folder.
2. Make certain you're running Honorbuddy with Windows Administrator privileges (i.e., right-click, and "Run as Administator")

still pulling the error "Error trying to save settings file 'CharacterSettings.xml' while moving temporary file to path: Cannot create a file when that file already exists."

I've done a fresh install, deleted settings folder, cleared out my temp files, running hb with administrator privileges.

Still doing research. But in the meantime, let's try disabling the streaming of all products from the Buddy Store and see if that shakes it loose:

If no joy, will have see if Tony sees the issue.

I tried disabling all my addons in WoW. I'm still getting the error message, but the bots seem to be working. Must be some interference with one of my addons? It's strange that the error message is still present, but the bots are still working. I will continue to work with these and see what comes of it. I'll run some trial and error with my addons and hand off a list of addons that seem to not be incompliant with honorbuddy.

so the error message is causing any bot to not navigate where it is supposed to hence making then non-afkable. I have to move the bot everywhere it needs to go, but it performs combat routines properly.
