Why do I have to shutdown wow and honorbuddy when changing characters???

I use to be able to switch characters without completely shutting down wow.....no if I login to another character and relaunch Honorbuddy.exe it hangs at the "Logging in" screen, so I have to compltely close wow and honorbuddy and relaunch and everything is fine....did something change in the new updates?

you just have to shut down and restart Hb.not wow

but when u do that it reopens another wow window.? well it does for me anyway I end up having a heap wow windows open and lags me.

dont use Hb launcher in that case

Well i have the exact same problem and its really anoying, tryed to reload Honorbuddy (not the Game starter launcher) but it seems like it wont attach to Wow.exe
Have to reload wow aswell to get it working ! Tony you could add me to skype if you want to see it for yourself ! would love some help for this problem !

Just to add my two cents; I know exactly what the OP is talking about as I too have noticed this but only after using Garrisonbuddy.

When my character has finished with the garrison farming, I close HB, log out of the current character, select the next character and it will hang upon the loading screen. This is a given when using Garrisonbuddy but I can frequently get away with it on other bot bases.

Setting it to Directx 11 fixed all my issues per another post about issues I had, Thanks Tony!
