He has no choice but to wait so "can't" is irrelevant.

Btw, a couple hours was sometime early yesterday. Right around the time all the other bots came back up. Loose definition of a "couple" ya? Unless you meant days not hours.

Could it be because perhaps I never heard of a mod named johnny6 and I've been here many years? Or perhaps cause I hadn't even GOT to his post yet? Its my first time seeing the thread and I'm plowing through ala page 1.

Oh, and what his post on page what? 5/6/7? A day later is relevant how?

It was a non copy/paste reply given by the rest of the staff? I should go find it!

But really, I have a bazillion other things to do. No skin off my back. I'm just playing devils advocate, ribbing all the sheep, or pointing out the obvious. Usually a combination of the above.
 
I understand it does take time for them to make sure the bot is safe for us to use, but we should at least be updated and have a estimated time of when it will be back up or even a post or two letting us know if they are almost done or half way done. We don't even know how long we are waiting for. Could be 5 min from now or it could be 2 more days.

Giving out ETA's only leads to disappointment. It wont be happening
 
To me it really feels like most people on here would rather have an unsafe release that will 99 times out of 100 get the ban hammer down than wait for a stable "safe" release, you all need to calm down and just deal with it, this world is so full of entitled little brats that cry because their mummy and daddy bought them the wrong colour car for Christmas instead of being immensely grateful that they got something most people never do, necro this thread, it serves no purpose but to waste my time and yours, oh and to annoy sensible people.

Care for a wager? Hell how could it be rubbish? By default hb has the worst security record lol. Largest market share and entire wiping just 1x. Not counting the other ban waves nor bannings in between.

Not gonna argue semantics but your certainly not up on the competition available my friend.

How about you shut up and go to the competition then? Last time I checked there weren't any real competition to HB any way.

I get soooo many pms regarding this. Including what I would call "indie" bots, only about a dozen exist. Find it the same way I did.

Not trying to be rude but I'm pinned down by a tyrant of a baby using one hand on my mobile. Pm isn't happening and I know better than to post that stuff in the open.

My advise to you then is to stop while you still can. Go concentrate on the baby instead of replying to this thread as slowly its adding up to some quiet time :-)

No but if I called that service department they would give me an update as to the status..IE its still waiting to go on a lift, your car is next in line, its on the lift and being looked at as we speak. Like someone said, if you have time to read threads and close them, then you have time to say a couple words about an update. IE still working on it, Beta will be out soon, dont forsee anything beinf released until tomorrow etc...

It was all ready on the lift. The lift is where the work is done. You knew we where working on it so knew it was on the lift.
