[Plugin] BoostMe

BoostMe is a follower plugin without a server or any complex setup.

This is a little fun project for me, don't except it to support other stuff than it's already supporting. Read the following steps to get it running.

  1. Leader doesn't need this plugin. Leader doesn't even need DB. Only thing that is important for the leader to first to create the game while not in party and invite followers while in game alone. Bounty / Keywarden profiles that remake the game after finishing the content breaks the detection of the leader in the next game, so the party needs to be disbanded and remade using the same rule.
  2. Disable QuestTools and Adventurer on followers.
  3. Enable BoostMe
  4. Load one of the profiles under Plugins/BoostMe folder.
  5. Hit start
  6. Profit


Follower Modes

It has 3 modes enabled by loading the relevant profile:

  • BoostMe_TPAndWait.xml: Just teleports to leader and waits until the leader goes to another map. Nice for 1-70 boosting.
  • BoostMe_FollowNoCombat.xml: Follows the leader around but doesn't fight, just collects loot (leech mode)
  • BoostMe_FollowCombat.xml: Follows the leader and fights like a man!


BoostMe doesn't support greater rifts (because you cannot teleport to other players in greater rifts). Doesn't work properly with UberBot. It's not tested at all with Keywardens.

If you require more than what BoostMe can do, there is already a full blown follower plugin called SimpleFollow.

You may request features or report bugs, but I cannot guarantee anything.

Awesome work, I'll try it this evening... last patch I used to do the exact same thing with some minor modifications to SimpleFollow and Combat Assist on the Leader. Love rolling with my private army.

This is even better though, now I can keep my main account entirely Demonbuddy free. Thanks a lot!
 
i love it only thing is maybe a distance between the follower and the leader in the non combat routine? Im noticing that the follower is dieing so much becuase hes just getting one shotted you know
 
working better than simplefollow, but to use with relogger we need some plugin to autoinvite followers...
Tried to delete some code from simplefollow, but it became completely broken, cos of my programming skillz.
So, very excited to see this function!

Very nice, thanks! I could never get SimpleFollow to work quite right for some reason but this is really useful for power leveling.

Any idea why my followers will sometimes try to leave the game after being idle for like ~5 minutes? I can't figure out which anti-idle setting is causing it.

Gold inactivity?
Also set the Demonbuddy/Settings/Bot/Inactivity Time to 0.
 
any way to make it work with greater rift and manually clicking portals to next stage? like follow just when leader found without tp? :)

Thanks for your awesome plugin,

playing with a friend of mine HC :P but sometimes the follower leaves the group, so a auto invite would be really nice.
