Profile Creating: How to Fly?

First thing's first; YES I have a lifetime subscription so can use flying in HonorBuddy.

I'm trying to make some personal custom farming profiles, however the bot won't seem to fly in the air, rather just run along the ground with a flying mount. How exactly do I get it to use them?

having lifetime only removes the limitation of using a flying mount, a plugin is needed in order to take advantage of it. honorbuddy just isnt going to magically take advantage of it.
 
"honorbuddy just isnt going to magically take advantage of it." - why not? It's HonorBuddy's responsibility to utilize flying mounts for navigation. Why should we need third party plugins to use this? :/

Any plans to add flying mount navigation support in future?
 
HB wasn't intended for flying before Cata and last I read/heard it doesn't have 3d navigation implemented. Maybe they should just disable it.

because code dosnt magicly right itself. there's no code in honor buddy to make it do that. the navigation is only responsible for ground movement, not flight. even if it did mount up with a flying mount and fly up, it would still be following the ground path. eventually it will be able to handling flying to repair, and such, but at the moment more things take precedent.
 
So to clarify; the Lifetime sub covers the cost of using flying mounts _if_ plugins support it - but HonorBuddy itself does not currently handle this at all?
 
Correct, such as Auto Angler and the Arch bot both support flying and use it.

Why not? Write the plugin and we'll use yours.

Until then, there are a few plugins that utilize flying, and taxi services
 
I've made a few private fishing profiles for auto angler and they fly just fine amazingly.. All I did when making the profile is be flying at the height I want the waypoint set at when I hit the my location button.. It mounts, flys to the height and patrols along my path I made beautifully.
