I am currently using 2.13.3 Trinity with Adventurer 1.0.0.73

I am using HOTA build and it keeps using Furious Charge in combat instead of HOTA to spend fury for my IK set.

Anyone has this problems?

How to configure it to use HOTA to dump fury?

Both your Trinity and Adventurer are outdated. Update both. Those issues should be fixed. I use HOTA as well with Furious Charge and have no issues.

Trinity 2.13.5 https://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/plugins/trinity/224194-trinity-2-13-5-questtools-3-5-5-a.html

Adventurer 1.0.0.90 https://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/plugins/223530-plugin-adventurer.html

Yes.

The .424 release of DB contains the Trinity 2.13.3 but upgrade to 2.13.5 and the new Adventurer, and you are good to go. The bot does a good job with my Barb.

Method you are using HOTA ?

I'm WW and considering switching to HOTA cuz i looted ancient HOTA weap over night.

any way you gimme a screen of your trinity settings ?

Do I need to re-install? cause it is still charging like a headless chicken

Always the best bet to do a fresh install.

And HOTA is really easy and very tanky. I would try it out. Use pretty much default setting, the HOTA build off diablofans, and the gear. My barb is para 550 and clears up to GR50 pretty easily on trinity 2.13.5. He just runs around smashing things for 2-6 billion. He would push further if pathing were better... coupled with lucky rng rifts. :-)

I don't get how HOTA is working well with trinity when trinity just get stuck not WWing seriously too often as WW.

Ya Trinity, at least for me, is running HOTA much better than WW. Its a set it and forget it setup for me. It may not be quite as fast for T8 farming, but I have it on GR49 and it farms flawlessly. When I get a better ancient BK wep I'll give WW another shot... maybe. For now, with my gear, HOTA is just king

I'm considering it for my hardcore char.

Tired of dying on 2 levels lower than my gear allows it has to be WW bugging out.

Would you trust HOTA enough to AFK farm HC ?

Side question : what kind of avoidance do you use ? Could you post a screen of your combat settings ?

I have never played HC simply because I want to avoid the headache of starting over- so I couldn't say one way or the other. The problem with botting HC is that no matter what, your bot will run into an unpredictable terrible rng pack and you will get smoked because the bot doesn't know any different. So I would never bot hardcore past t6 content... with any build.
I have the same build as http://www.diablofans.com/builds/57514-2-3-hota-barb-solo-60
My trinity avoidance is off completely. It's too dumb. So instead I have 1.1mil hp and run Trapped, Gizzard, Mora for gems. With town buffs only, I'm at 50mil tough, 44% Dodge, 2mil dps, 4.5mil reovery. This with Together as One and Unity make you pretty tanky.
My trinity settings are pretty default... You just have to find the right gear recipe

But by far the best part of the HOTA build is having, basically, 100% crit with HOTA @ ~500% Crit dmg. That with a power shrine is just so enjoyable... A steady chain of ~12 billion crits makes me giggle

Yes, but in the meanwhile (waiting for that +++RNG combo) you stock enough to gear a new char so you just have to get 70 boosted by someone to 70 and take the gear in the bank (you keep paragon level)

1.1mil HP you are paragon1000 or wut ?
What items do you run, any cubing involved ?
Sound like a good plan for HC purpose.

Giggle.

EDIT : Just tried Furious Charge, sounds like it's spamming as long as there's mobs to jump to, isn't it like not good ?

All of the sudden, my HOTA build is running very smooth.... DB doesn't keep spamming Furious Charge and proc both my focus and restraint. Good stuff, thanks guys.

how is the hota build compared to the waste ww build?

Best way to find out is try them both and see which performs better for your particular needs :)

For me and my gear, HOTA is better.

This is weird. Suddenly DB won't run my HOTA build anymore. It just uses Furious Charge and then stands still and nothing else happens before cooldown is ready on Furious Charge.
I used to run Hota build very well with DB but now after a restart it won't use it. WW build runs good though.

Anyone else experienced this?

go into trinity settings/combat/barbarian and uncheck the little box that says furious charge ooc (off of cooldown)
and get the new adventurer plugin, something about the new trinity build released today, it doesnt want to hota right unless you have adventurer 1.0.0.95
