Keeping ancients only?

So i've ticked the keep ancient only option in trinity but it's still stashing non-ancient gear, any ideas?

Use Item List and then select from list items which u want to keep, all others will be destroyed.

If you want to keep only the Ancient Items:

Trinity>Config>Items>Pickup>Item Rules Mode>Item List
Trinity>Config>Items>Item List>Select Nothing
Trinity>Config>Items>Town Run>Misc Town Run Options> Check "Always Stash Ancients"

When you say you "i've ticked the keep ancient only option in trinity" , you really mean "i've ticked the Always Stash Ancients option in trinity", and that is working exactly as intended ... it stashes all ancient items you pick up.

If you want to only keep ALL ancient items (which is a pretty useless option in itself) , then set up a blank item list.


You really should just set up the item list to your liking. Takes about 10 minutes and you will never have inventory space again, nor will you keep the plethora of useless legendarys.

Not anymore. Once upon a time, you used to be able to know all the stats of an item before the item was rolled. This has long been fixed tho. Many scammers were selling certain affix yellows after already knowing they would roll poorly. (this was back when items were sellable / tradeable).

I think he meant that he ticked the "Keep Ancient Items Only" under Item Ranks Settings.
So what you have to do is go to the Items > Pickup > Item Rules Mode and change it to Item Ranking.
Then it will only stash Ancients.
Under Item Ranks, you might as well put it for "Any Class" under Keep Ranked Items, you never know if you get bored and want another character.
