Authentication failed. Unable to connect to Buddy servers.

Everytime I launch Honorbuddy it gives the error : Authentication failed.
Unable to connect to Buddy servers.

After that it shows the screen to enter the key , but still the same error after that.

It's most likely because WoW was updated today..................
 
Got the same issue, worked perfectly last night. Been going on all morning. Danish resident here.

EU wow wasnt updated tho, so should not cause any issues at all.

I have no clue then, my friend.
 
Same problem, sadly. In case after start HB launcher it starts x86 client, shows me "Auth failed" message and nothing other happens. Disabled my antivirus soft, nothing changes. Im from rus (sry for bad english btw), maybe this is a problem. Help me please, i need you :)

oh, forgot. OS's Windows 8.1, Total security 360 AV
 
In order for HB to work for me (and to avoid the same error you are seeing) I have to disable the FipsAlgorithmPolicy via regedit. Basically launch regedit and search for key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FipsAlgorithmPolicy double click Enabled and change the 1 to 0. I have had to do this for at least one other program/game. This is of course at your discretion. You can read up online on what that will actually effect. I have to make this registry change after each clean boot. As always, if it involves your registry be VERY VERY careful when altering anything.

No don't do this. There is NO need to change a system registry in order to make HB work.
A "normal" Windows installation works out of the box with honorbuddy.
illegal windows copies or systems with disabled scanners might get changed in a lot of ways which can cause such trouble.
I've seen your other support thread here and I recommend to re-install windows and keep the virus scanner active ALWAYS.

i cant even enter the key. Nothing good happens when i start HB launcher or simple HB with WoW started allready - the same window of failed auth on buddy server(-s) appears :( What can i try even more?
 
Did you try the buddywizard? I had the same thing happen to me on my windows 10 ( I know you're windows 8 ). Everytime I launched it just said cannot authenticate with honorbuddy servers. I ran the buddywizard it installed a few missing files and voila done deal!
