Gearing a Bot Character

I'm just wondering what others are doing to gear their bot character?

I've just levelled a hunter to add skinning/felblights to my daily gold making rotation as they are so expensive on my realm, but he's not getting through mobs as quick as I'd like.

I don't really want him to spam BGs or 5mans because that's really obvious.

I'd like an ilvl of maybe 650ish and I don't want to really put any money into him either.
 
Bgs are the best. 670 gear. I lvled 10 different chracters with pvp gear in one weekend from the 3x honor gain weekend. Its the best thing for botters ever. Its really not that shady. Oh unless you are alliance, alliance is screwed because they dont have instant queues. Might want to do Ashran instead.

The balaan gear whatever its called, from tanaan, though takes some time to get which sucks and is 650. I have 670 geared people and getting about 300 kills an hour and get maybe 10 pieces a day..would be much slower and dangerous for someone actually gearing up.

This man speaks the truth. 670 geared fresh 100 should take 12-18hrs thru bg's.

Do not skimp and use the default bg buddy. Get milz and never look back.
 
Infact i have a shaman about to hit lvl 100 in about an hour. I will start him in Bg's straight away time how long it takes to get all 670 gear. He is horde BTW queing as dps.
 
I dont know about 12-18hrs...Seems a little fast to me, I had the tripple honor gains for the special weekends they just added with 6.2.

Well i set the bot up to buy what i wanted. Started at 11pm at night when i went to bed checked when i went to work at 7am came home 4pm and i was at ilvl 658 because i screwed up the the purchase list and was buy duplicates of trinkets and rings. This was last weekend without bonuses.

Works fine for alliance as well, takes about 24 hours of grinding to hit i676. If OP is leveling a hunter he/she should definitely at least grab a weapon from honor, 650 for tanaan stuff is super mediocre.

If you want some BGs to exclude I would recommend Silvershard Mines and Alterac Valley, the bot profiles are just really blatant in those battlegrounds and it doesn't feel safe to me.

tbh im botting my main account, i have 6 almost 8 100's every 100 i have is over 620 im running them thru tanaan jungle to get The empowered crystals for my main toon, MM hunter 695 only got a few more to hit and ill be 700. i send over the empowered crystals from alts :D i get maybe 2-4 Crystals per 2days. sometimes day and half. once my hunter is maxed in them ill move onto my shaman and so forth. its easy using the profile for dailies takes the bot about 2hours to complete the dailies on a toon. its good becoz i can afk them, go away do stuff come back and change toons :D
 
if its a battlechest account get 10 day wod trial and do WOD leveling quests. In an hour or two you'll most probably get 520+ ilvl items on your toon. Easy way for bc accounts.
 
I exclude WSG because when I tried it a few weeks ago it was getting stuck on the fences/walls added on the mid-level graveyards.

Get the plugin MrGearBuyer, edit and fix it via the solution on one of the last few pages, research your BiS PVP gear then add it to the plugin

Then set MrGearBuyer to use the honor NPC in Stormshield/Warspear as your repair vendor and set that area s your home or whatever it's called.

You can safely do it overnight, should take 1-2 days of 8-10 hours of botting, although longer if you're losing a majority of your games.

Alliance has around 13 minute queue times because they win BG's now, horde queue's pop very quickly, but they tend to lose most of the time.

I've done this many times, it's amazing.

I've had my healer do Call to arms heroic dungeons all day today, i'm averaging 3/4 baleful tokens(650gear,chance to be 675), Today i've got around 250tokens and 10 Empowered upgrade thingies for 650>695 item, do it for all my new 100s
 
tbh i'm kinda lazy
the moment a char hits 100 i either farm about 65k gold or buy it, then buy boe epics off ah
 
First off if you bg you are looking to get a fast bann. no matter how you look at it anyone who bg bots will get caught and loose there account best bet is to go through tanaan jungle and pick up the 650 treasurs around that will get you to 650 and geared enough to take out mobs.

This is completely not true. Plenty of people, probably thousands, have botted BGs without getting banned. You're spreading misinformation. I'd agree that botting BGs is riskier than quest or grind botting as you are guaranteed to interact with a larger amount of active players in a BG, but to speak in an absolute about BG botting resulting in a ban is just not true.

sadly here neither tanks nor healer get that extra bag that often... 1 in 5 dungeons, maybe!
 
Get the addon looking for satchels, queues you when it's availiable
 
I have been using a profile I made for the iron front, i love that the random items that drop can get to 675 ilevel if you get the epic upgrade :P so far i've found like 8 of those upgrades in 7 hours
