New debuff from botting it seems

Was running the quester plugin today and all of my bots were hit with a captcha to which I was only able to respond to 1 in time and he only got 4 hours prison sentence compared to the other ones 24hours.

Sadly I have no screenshot of the actual captcha.

Before this happened all of them had suspicious activity debuff applied to them for 3 hours before I cleared but it looks like it was followed up on which I havn't seen before now.


Edit banned after like an hour or 2 of standing around with prison debuff, including the one that answered the captcha.

I will also be running an archeage quester bot this afternoon to see if it is ip ban or if they are still watching me after bans.


Is it possible you triggered a new method to check bots?

It is possible a gm actively did this to me as I was also teleported to main cities and kicked by real players.

But this was like a completely new type of ban for me, i have had alot of accounts banned and never seen anything like this.

Also I don't think I am ip banned because some of those questers i had running were for a day or more straight, either way I'm going to try running some with brand new socks proxies next week when hopefully there street cleaners are gone but I'll try another free trial one tonight to see if i can get lucky and see when/if he captchas me.

not really, just a normal captcha with like 6 letters/numbers.

It was timed though, I think it gave me 10minutes and 3 tries.

I can think 2 situations, your IP was flagged and a GM had to check you.

And in other hand.. a random GM was checking for questers bots

You are silly to assume shit like this, be constructive or go away.

Proxy only stops chain reaction bans from catching 1 and they only do ban wave every like 6 months so really its not that bad to use home ip.

And before those 15 bots I had all my bots banned in february to yet still same ip with 15 more for 6 months?

You really think they watch ip forever after bans? fuckkk noooo, trion is very lazy and only does waves just like every other mmo.

Seems like a new automated dectetion program, that can actually detected certain automated tasks, that hardly seem manual or the work of a GM, nobody has been in a similar situation?
