okay maybe it´s only me but with my RF incinerate Char i have 9 FPS when he casting incinerate. only want to tell that and he is casting Grace indeed of vitality. have vitality on shortcut and Purity of fire. maybe i must change some things that he use vitality.

If you have any issues, please post a full log from the bot session you encountered it in to start and we can go from there.

okay here is a log from a aqueduct run and a dried lake run. i stoped the bot both times per hand. aqeduct seems to be good with fps but dried lake ist jumping the fps from 100 down to 9 or 10. and the aura´s that are casted was grace and purity of fire but i want that he cast vitality :)View attachment Exilebuddy 8060 2015-07-28 01.53.txt

I actually tested dried lake quite a bit running the game in OllyDbg, which really kills it, and didn't come across any issues like this.

I'll start checking logs to see if it's an issue with a skill or something common people are using.

I have some more logs if you need them, running this setup of gems:
Arc>faster casting>Spell echo>Power charge on crit>lightning penetration>increased critical mult
Elemental weakness>faster casting>Increased area
ice golem>minion speed>fortify>blind
clarity, herald of ice, herald of thunder

I tried changing maps, graphics options without any improvements.

Same as everyone else.. Tried nearly every map option we have with the same results. Extremely low FPS when bot is running, and normal speed when the bot is off.

Really wasn't able to finish an entire run but i have attached a log.

Running a flame totem build with essentially only 3 skills being used (summon flame golem, flame totem, herald of lightning)

Even tried it without flame golem and herald of lightning with same result.

Any help would be appreciated, or info on if this is just a bug being addressed :)

I'm having this problem on my VMware's as well...Any update about this issue?

I seem to notice that fps drops are caused only when the bot aproaches mobs and starts fighting them.No mobs on screen no fps problem. And even when i restrict my fps to 30 when the spiking starts it goes up to 100fps and down to 10 few times a second, ignoring the fps restriction.Somehow EB is messing up with the game when there are mobs around the bot. Before this expansion there wasnt such a problem. My VMware's could run with 60fps rock solid with the bot running ofc.And that fps problem is leading to more deaths for my toons.

I've noticed this as well, when I first start the bot it seems fine. It sees objects like chest or barrels, or mobs and it goes crazy.

The last beta version reduced some unnecessary overhead from looking up key binds. I don't think that was the main issue, but that's fixed at least if it was.

Now in terms of FPS itself, I've noticed the in game display can't be accurate. I used FRAPS and DxTory to checks FPS while the bot is running, and the FPS they show looks more accurate. So if you're judging performance based on the in game FPS counter alone, please get an external program and see for yourself if it looks right or not.

By limiting FPS, the in game display seems more accurate. I tested Dried Lake a lot with 10 FPS and the bot was working exactly as expected (if you're limiting FPS to 20 or below, you should use LowFpsHelper to fix delays caused by lengthly delays between frames. Make sure to turn it off if you're no longer limiting frames!) Now, can everyone actually bot at 10 FPS in Merciless with anything less than godly gear? Probably not, but the point is the bot is working exactly as it should be at a place where it used to have a lot more issues before the EB update itself. I do recommend 20 FPS at minimal, as low FPS setups are not supported by us, but in terms of if the bot had some serious issue that was making it unusable, I'm not seeing it still.

One thing to keep in mind, is the PoE client itself has changed a lot since pre-2.0. There's even more data crammed into it now, which happens each expansion and people have to continuously upgrade VM specs and resources to keep up. I do think the client has gotten a lot of performance optimizations, but there are still issues posted by people (most likely not botting with EB) in the main forums about stutter, latency, and other issues when using lockstep. These are things we always have to coexist with and work around the best we can.

For now, I'll keep my eye out on other improvements that can be made, but I don't think there's too much more to change (aside from OldRoutine/OldGrindbot, which have planned changes) to try and make it work better. We'll see how things go once some more new stuff is in place though.

yesterday i did some testing again and i can also reproduce the issue that EB causes extreme FPS spikes.
the FPS spikes are followed by latency spikes.

i also have smaller FPS troubles when playing manually (sometimes better, sometimes worse), but EB definitely rapes my toon.

I press "stop" and have 30MS and stable 60 FPS ( i also tried dxtory)
I press "start" and FPS + MS get go up and down like crazy.

Is there anything i can do?

I stopped botting since 2.0 because of this crap.

that is the same for all the ppl who have that issue no bot no fps problem. But as for me i dont rly mind it cuz its not slowing my farming speed but for other this is not an option.

The bot is doing something that is disturbing the game fps and latency.I dont see it as a problem from the game since i can run with 60 fps stable on max graphics in 6 man party with my pc,but once i start the bot its rip fps and latency...

P.S all of my friends got that issue and they are around 7-8 ppl who use that bot.

because of this issue my toon is definitely dying like 100times more often.

it's also stuttering in town so maybe sooner or later i get reported.

maybe i can bot with godly gear and spiking 1-20FPS combined with 30-1500MS. But like i said - before this happens i sell my accounts

Yes without bot running stable 59-60fps/30-50ms pressing start = 1-60fps and ping spikes when stashing or vendoring stuff or other actionms bot does ~300ms, havnt seen any other bot for any game to affect game it self so much
