2 accounts
2 IPs
1 mac address

No rmt
Did d2jsp
Few items traded between accounts, leveling equipment

Pre 2.0 one was running for two weeks and the other for one week.
12-18/7

Both hit as the same time.

One time account #1 was logging in to account #2's ip without a password because EB user credentials wasn't working.

Will wait till questing plugin is released and try again on different ip or maybe fiddle arounds with VMs and a new ip.

Had lots of stucks today, but prior this EB patch hardly any.

1 Mac address + Item trading fucked you over 100% (Thats why both got banned at the same time)
12-18h a day prolly got you flagged in the first place

Yeah can see how the mac connected those if they are utilizing it but saying 100% sure is a bit overconfident imo :p

Item trading I sincerely doubt, we are talking about 10 items tops and hundreds of items traded with legit people.

12-18h was actually rarely achieved due to connection issues. I think it was the huge stuck issues I encountered today, never had them before.

But sometimes people were adding me to friends for a trade, so they still could see my "playtime" was more than normal, wouldn't be surprised if one of them reported me and that lead to one and another.

Was chatting a lot in general when I was monitoring, which lead to some people getting a bit too friendly, will go no contact next time :)

Still sucks though :(

Just saying the Mac / trade connected the two accounts and im like super positive about that. Got like 18 ish accounts banned now and kinda learned from every one of those
depends how long you botted for 12-18h but they might just flag every account that is online for 16+ hours a day for x amount of days and then check on it

The other question is, where were you when the ban hit? And also, where you most frequently?

if you ask me its from this "1 mac address" and this "One time account #1 was logging in to account #2's ip without a password because EB user credentials wasn't working." 2 ip's on 1 mac address?Whats the point?Ever heard of VMware?

Just returned home, was clearing out the stashes. Was going to post something on buddyforum, alt tab back and saw both logged out lol.

What is "its", the connection or the ban? I could care less about the connection tbh.

Wouldn't be too hard to find out you're using a vm if they want... just as it isn't as hard too find the mac address just as it isn't hard as too find the hwid.

Also vmware is shit with ssds and poe is much better with ssds. So for 2 accounts lol. Also if I were to use vmware, I would probably still put 2 accounts on one vmware.

Was just finding out how harsh bans were after coming back.

It is possible they flagged me before 2.0 if that is their system, because after 2.0 I haven't hit 12+ hours.

Still was just caught unprepared, was just finished leveling with account #2 and account #1 was doing a great job farming koam's stronghold to get a decent amount of currency for when the mapplugin would be released.

I guarantee you the duration of xxxxxxx had nothing to do with you getting banned. People tend to forget the game has no afk timeout. I'd wager 90% of the "hardcore" players (very loosely we'll say anyone 80+ in the new league) just stay in the game almost 24/7.

ye but im pretty sure they can check if the character is getting xp 24/7 or just 12/7 and afking the other time

I doubt GGG checks it with a website tbh.
They will just have a list of players and anything that gets xp for more than 16h / 7 d gets autoflagged and someone checks the account.
Atleast thats how I would do it, like what player is even playing 16h /7d for a super long time (prolly not even Etup doing those hours=

I wasn't implying they check it via a 3rd party website. But if we have public access to that information, of course they have more access to data that isn't public.

i love the comparisson of VMs to ssds and how the logic of hwid mac addy ip addy = same as vm

when plebs show understanding or lack thereof.

Is there a thread somewhere that explains what aspect of a computer are exposed to the server side? As in, does the PoE client read and report the hwid to the server? Does the traffic going back and forth have the respective MAC addresses of the IPv4 adapters contained in the packets? (I'm pretty sure the answer to that one is "yes" but only "pretty sure") and are there any other uniquely-identifiable bits of information that the client phones home with? I'm using a VPN to connect my farmbot, on a computer that I just cobbled together out of old parts (barely able to run the game on low quality settings), and I would like to know.
