First off, do not reply with oh they are going to update it to work with HB. I know this, I saw the post raphus posted about in reply to Windows 10 and getting HB to work with it.

I am seeing if anyone has already downloaded Win10 and HB works with it, so I know whether I should or should not upgrade to Windows 10 because I am tired of Windows 8.1 it sucks.

If anyone has got it working on Win10, I would love your input on the matter..

Hopefully HB gets updated fast for Win10 support :)

I ran it on 10 a couple builds ago and it ran fine. As far as secure im not sure if i was you i would load windows 10 and another in dual boot.

why would you run windows 10.

Its funny, you ( as a whole ) are afraid of privacy issues.

you do know, windows 10 records any key press you make, site you watch and what not and sends it to microsoft?

like, anything. Its the biggest breach of privacy since failbook.

+ if you saw the post china locked when asking, windows 10 is not supported and MIGHT be, in a year but no eta given.

I believe that the keylogger in Windows 10 was for use in the testing phases of the OS (so bugs could be easier seen and fixed). I highly doubt that a keylogger would remain in the distribution version of the OS.

You know that everyone is going to be coming through the new OS looking for just that kind of thing. I will admit that ever since I herd that they were giving it out for free even to ppl with pirated editions i thought that was very sketchy lol.

yeah but every new computer you buy will come with Windows 10 on it..

Update: We must stress that the feedback being collected in the Windows Technical Preview will only occur within the Technical Preview period. Once Windows 10 launches to the public as RTM, the data Microsoft collects will be removed from the operating system. This isn't a permanent feature within Windows 10, and therefore should not be a concern to your average Joe.

heres your answer it won't have it on the final release which will occur today.

Be smart - wait for 60-90 days before you upgrade to give all the devs time to shake out their code. No one is forcing anyone to upgrade immediately so just be patient and give it some time.

sources? Sounds like a tinfoil hat rant without any reliable sources.

No luck with me on 10, I get a .Net Run Time Error stating: Can't process Managed Resources.

so glad I dual boot installed it instead of overriding 8.1

One source documenting the Win10 keylogger is here:

There are other sources, but we'll leave it for those interested to find. But, we agree with Toofastforyou's assessment:

Instead, Windows 10 has other very serious bugs at the moment with the .NET runtime that creates problems for Honorbuddy (and other .NET-based applications):

Not to mention the normal launch-before-its-ready shenannigans:

If Windows 10 works for you, congratulations—"Works for me" is not a valid release critieria. Win 10 is most definitely NOT working for a large number of people (with respect to Honorbuddy and other applications).

Now that its been released, the pressure will increase on Microsoft (as it should be) to fix the problems they've let into the wild. Hopefully, these issues will be repaired in a timely manner. It would be prudent to wait at least 90 days before considering a permanent shift to Windows 10.

Quick update from myself. I have MANAGED to force directx 12 back down to 11 and it was no easy feat this in turn may break more crap than its worth doing, but in doing so, have gotten HB, DB and EB to work on windows 10, tinkering to get it to work with dx12 and have gotten to launch and read correctly BUT crashes on insinuating a custom profile, though Singular works...somewhat.
