[Official] Honorbuddy and Arena

Let's have 2 versions of Honorbuddy then, one that allows arena and one that does not. That way all these butthurt people can opt out of using arena enabled Honorbuddy.

Then let's see how much 'safer' the one without arena is.

Hint: It would make absolutely no difference. It seems that Bossland has realized this too, losing customers over a false sense of safety is not an optimal business approach. Kind of like stabbing yourself in the leg while being chased by a horde of zombies thinking it would help you survive somehow.

you have completely failed to understand why arena botting makes it less safe for everyone. have you ever been to the WoW arena forums? Blizzard receives more complaints and loses more subs over bots in arena than bots in all other forms of the game COMBINED.

this is because botting in arena screws over other players while botting vs a mob does not. no one cares if you use a bot to level a character or slay a dragon, because that doesn't impair their own game experience in any way. but botting in arena ruins the experience for hundreds of thousands of angry and vocal players who will be calling for all of your heads. enjoy your bans

insults instead of an argument. you have failed to address my points because it is not even possible for you to do so. competent readers can see who has won here and who has lost.
 
Not one too tell the end days and the great doom, but i think there is a causation between Unhappy non botters and botters getting banned. And most people don't get unhappy with people who bot archology, fishing, achievements, a little gold for themselves(non ah abuse), and other non competitive aspects. Be forewarned, i ant gonna let hb touch anything of importance with these calls these recent detections... its just asking for it. But imma see my little alt account get roasted while it farms a low key money making spot, while people lose their accs while in arena. Hope it doesn't happen, but i doubt blizzard cares about botting INTILL people start botting shit they shouldn't be doing.
 
ITT people who can't get rating legitimately so they steal it from those who can

also ITT people who don't comprehend the difference between botting vs the environment (creating new loot, harming no one) and botting vs other players (stealing their rating, causing them to lose games they should have one, and ruining the game for others)

also ITT people who can't argue with logic so they resort to personal attacks to cover the holes in their arguments

Blizzard only cares about botting when it causes their customers to become unhappy which causes Blizzard to lose sub

nothing causes as much rage and causes more harm to the game -- and to Blizzard's profits -- than botting in arena
 
sad to say that the almighty dollar is more important to HB then risky uses for the bot
 
Honestly it doesnt matter what any one here says. Arena is back, and even if it goes away again we all have ways around the block so this point is mute. Use HB for whatever suits you best cause were all getting banned sooner or later. "If a man puts his foot in the water does it not still get wet? Just like the man who puts his head in?"

totaly agree with you- thats why ill prob not be touching HB and will be using something else that has a lower profile and hopefully wont be squared in blizz bulleye

I think i would be ok with this if and only if people who chose to bg/arena bot are on a different detectable format, not weaker, but different. I am ignorant when it comes to programming, but for this choice to really work people need to know they won't get rekted because they where botting fishing in their garrison or getting mop archaeology achivements all because some nerd who can't play an easy game got 2k arena rating using hb then bragged about it in trade chat. I have seen this, its a special kind of downs. BUT the important part is it exists and its a liability.

They are going to try to ban all bots if they see bots as an issue. I dont see how jumping ship from honorbuddy is going to protect you lol. I mean in the last ban wave they hit more than just HB

easier to get rating i always healed in arena got 2500 rating with tuanha scripts without those i couldnt heal in arena because the pressure is sometimes high to heal and react where a bot is more better then a human and the cc aswel

Ok, can you explain what do you need your bot arena rating for? It's not your rating, you're not playing arena, I can't get the point WHY.

same reason people do aimbot in FPS games, its fun to have an advantage over people

They are always going to do waves, just to keep you guessing. Waves are just groups of names that have been collected manually to be banned, don't be silly.
