How well do you think this set up will run?

Motherboard MSI A78M-E35 FM2+ Motherboard - HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX

Processor AMD A8-7650K Processor - Unlocked Quad Core 3.3GHz Radeon R7 GPU

Memory 1600MHz DDR3 8 gigs

Power Supply Corsair 750W Semi-Modular Power Supply

Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 - 2GB GDDR5
GPU OC Overclocked Graphics Card

HDD/SSD 256GB SSD - 540MB/s Read, 530MB/s Write
2nd HDD Western Digital Blue 1TB - 7200RPM 3.5" HDD

Just 1 of each but hoping to do it on ultra

your cpu will prolly bottleneck your gc to play it on ultra.

also note, the bot makes it lag, a lot. fms will go down regardless of the setup.

Would this perform better?

ASRock Z97 Anniversary Motherboard

Intel® Quad Core™ i5-4460 Processor

i think anything under an i7 will keep being a bottleneck.

thinking about buying a 2nd one of my old hd8650 and put em in together.
although ive read a lot that wow doesnt support it fully and all that, im sure there is a performance gain for me to get.

Still cheaper then buying a new one.

But i think my quadcore at 3.4 ( amd ) will be an issue.

This is so wrong. An i7 is way overkill. WoW can never use more than two cores anyway. All it cares about is IPC, which is exactly the same on i3, i5 and i7 - as well as most Xeons of same generation.
Of course it will help to have more cores, if you set your Mask Affinity to max and have multiple bots running on the same PC.

you are right wow will never use more then 4 threads, but windows will manage this so if you have running 4 clients they will spread over all the threads.
and i7 isn't really overkill because wow is using more cpu since a few patches and I got an i7 and I really wouldn't go to the 20 clients with an i5
