July 1st is comming

You all have seen the banwave, and you all have seen that we had no explanation on how the ban happened.

The detection was at a time that could not be worse for the future of the store, as it combined the new rules, the new share and the banwave in one big reallity.

We are aware, that at this moment sales have dropped at 10-20 % of what they usually where. This is an issue that we all need to handle, but the truth is, that after such an banwave it will take months until we recover to what we had before the banwave.

Now coming back to July 1st, i admit, that i should have done what we do now from the beginning. It comes too late now, but it still is happening.

Now let me give you some numbers, on May 1st, over a month ago, i sent out 92 developer agreements. So far only 6 came back, there are 3 more weeks to go.

The people i got the agreements from - will get their payment as usual on 10-12th this month. The ones that have not yet signed the agreement, will wait. I need to make sure, that once you are gone, the refunds are covered, that is why we will hold the earnings for just a month. Also there is no excuse to say that the postal office is too slow, a priority mail that is delivered within a week between EU <-> US does not cost more than 8 USD. The ones that sent out the agreement and it has not yet arrived, are free to post here and tell me when it was sent. I am that free to proceed your payments too.

This filtration of the store is needed, and from now on we will look to really make the store a better place. We are also hiring someone to fix the visibibity of the store products. That and the fact that a lot of products will be gone by July 1st, gives the opportunity to the ones that stayed.

And to all developers that are leaving us on July 1st, you are excused, no hard feelings. We will make sure that all the rules apply to everyone within our forum, store and products.
 
It's always bad to see some very talented developers leave the HonorBuddy community. I posted my contract just a few days ago for you Bossland. If you like I can send the scanned copy of the contract to you till the physical contract arrives. Sorry for the delay as I myself was weighing up the options after what had happened. It was not just a choice I could come up with within a few short hours. After a good talk with my partner we came to the conclusion that my dedication of work was for those customers that have supported not just my work but HonorBuddy in whole in which I should continue to support them in return.

Put the signed agreement in the mail as of 10 minutes ago. Should reach you Thursday at the latest since it stays inside Germany.
 
I sent mine June 1st via priority mail. Though it was a lot more than 8 usd. ;) hopefully will get there this week.

Same goes for me. I am trying to correct the last small little bugs there might be for the routines I created right now. Without an account this isnt really that easy. I started leveling one 2 weeks after the ban. It never hit 60. :-(

Am I allowed to make the routines public when they get frozen or after a certain time? So other community people can change like things that come up with the new patches? As long as the routine stays public.
 
Have been asking for my agreement since i'm a community developer, but I don't have access to the Developer Panel in the store due to not having a contract. I was promised a new contract once the new changes were announced, and I have asked several times without any answer. It feels to me like I am not supposed to be a developer here, yet I have a very good product available with very good reviews from the people that have used my free versions.

I already told you that your reference is bullshit(in com dev chat), it is all fine with swedish law.

You took a paragraph of a bidding law and made it look like its forbidden in general, it is not.

what is your developer name? I sent the contract to everyone. Please talk to Dodo (Raphus) to allow you temporary to use the store. Once i know who you are, i will send you a priority mail.

You probably mean chargebacks, not refunds, right?

The "numbers" are obviously for CommDev eyes, and you would be violating their trust.
Contract terms and changes are also sensitive CommDevs-only informaiton.

I would not, without an explicit and public "okay" from Bossland.
And, even with an "okay", I would respect that my peers probably wouldn't want that information shared.

These are some of the reasons the CommDev-only forum exists.

I understand those reasons, and that is why I explicitly asked if I could share that post specifically. The reasoning behind it is that there is a big push in the RebornBuddy product to get the Buddy Store integrated with RebornBuddy. And while I was one of the people that started that push, it was before the contract changes got forced onto us. My intent in sharing the post is to point out to the RebornBuddy user's that even if Mastahg does implement a Store for RebornBuddy, I don't think many people will be willing to actually use it anymore. 6 out of 92 kind of confirms those thoughts that not very many people would use it.

Again, I do respect the privacy of this forum and fully understand if Bossland doesn't want to share that post, I just figured I'd ask.

I have decided against my decision and forwarded all store income generated in May.
 
Just a question, you use skype as a communication tool, yet no one replies when it is urgent, let this be one of the many reasons why I'm stopping.

Also, why do you guys sent payments out without checking our "payment information" ? I changed paypal email for private reasons, however, it seems you have send all the money over to that account which I cannot access atm, for such a big company/store I expected this without any issue but it seems you do not check the payment information in our account, anyway since you do not reply on skype I'll try finding a way to get my money on paypal, thanks for the trouble :(.
 
Skype is no tool for urgency,

urgent matters can be sent to [email protected] or [email protected] to my hands.

And yes it is my mistake that i send payments to the first option that i had saved when a user registered. There should be no such easy change in the system by default, because imagine someone stealing your data and replacing his payment with yours, short before payments go out. I will look at how to best deal with that issue. Probably will lock the payment modification completely and change it only on written requests.
 
Then why is this no where mentioned ?

And I dont think you can do anything for it as you send the money right ?

I'm contacting Paypal later today to see how I can access the account back
