So lately DB has been crashing A LOT. Whether I start the game or it starts the game, it always crashes after a relatively short time. Sometimes it does one rift and crashes, sometimes three. I tried reinstalling frameworks and visual studios. I also have no programs listed in the programs list that conflict with DB. Would appreciate some help as it seems that this issue has been pervasive lately.

I do, Nvidia Geforce GT 750M. When I play Diablo manually it runs perfectly fine. Haven't crashed a single time.

Edit: I don't have any of the Nvidia applications that seem to cause trouble with DB.

theyre aware of the problem.
start DB while standing in town, run rrrix rifts profile, which will stay in the game and not create new ones.

If you have an NVIDIA card, how are you updating your drivers?

I thought the same thing untili systematically started closing down programs.

Look for a program called 'NVBackEnd' or something like that in your running processes. When it is running, my DB crashes D3. When it isn't, I can run it for 24+ hours AFK. Let me know what you find out.

I am running Vmware, so I use Nvidia Cuba to update my drivers. What I did so far is enable frameworks 3.5 in windows 8.1 and so far DB has been running for around 1.5 hours no problem. Will see how this goes and keep the thread updated. If it runs for 7+ hours without crashing then I guess enabling frameworks 3.5 did the trick.

Came here to make a post with logs about just this probem, and found this.

I have nvidia card and found the process, going to test it out now! Though the weird thing is that i have 2 accounts i bot diablo on and its only one that always crashes, the other one is fine.

Edit: ended the process, started up diablo and pressed start and it crashed when starting the game. Haha, so much for that! Back to zero again.

Ended NVIDIA experience all together and some stuff, going to test some more.

You have to end all of the Nvidia processes in your task manager. Not just the 'backend' program. There is another one that you have to end. 'NvOa' or something to that effect. GFE also likes to restart itself every now and then, so you have to download Autoruns and manually deselect it, because Windows will make it go again.

Update: Bot still crashing even though I have no Nvidia applications running in the background at all.
