FPS Drop, Closed Forum access

While the dev's are hard at work, I'm sure, I wanted to put a request into the universe. Can boss land address the FPS drops that were so common while running honorbuddy? That would be so amazing!

Secondly, there have been so many people signing up for these forums so that they can troll us while we are down. My second request would be to close the forums to the public and require your honorbuddy Key to sign in. Is that even a possibility?

Thanks! Looking forward to the next iteration

ye i hope they work on the fps drop aswel im happy that im getting afther the weekend a new pc build that i made with an i4790k and gtx 970 etc but the fps drops was in some area insane like 10 fps and other area it was good.

The 970 should be a beast! Nice build. Ya I'm hoping they don't rush anything and take the time to get this next version right. If it takes 6 months...fine with me! Just address the issues that we have seen and we will all be better for it!

1000 watt PSU for a single card and 2 hard drives? That is extreme overkill

SLI'd 970s with 4 hdds and I'm on an 850 with zero issues. Google a power supply calculator.

What cooler are you using? With what you will save in the PSU go buy an AIO liquid cooler

if i was to built intel, id go with ddr4 ram. ddr3 is on its way out. even amd is moving to ddr4 next year.

answered your pm.

and the answer is no.
the 97 series chipset supports ddr3.
you will want to search for the 99 series motherboard.
look for 288pin ram support.

do your research on the all in one water cooling units. many have had bad feedback for springing a leak. and the fact that they are aio, if a pump goes bad, you replace the whole thing.

thermaltake.com has a very nice website for browsing cooling units.

i wil but i always can check for a new motherboard and ram next year

if i could build a new computer every single day, id never get tired of it.

wish you the best on your build Mario!!

send screenshots when you get it built, we'd love to see it.

had to hunt up a screenshot of mine. that is a storm scout case, i knocked the window out of it and made a custom horde window out of 6mm glowy red plexi. i cut the horde symbol with a dremel rotary tool. i gutted the case for better airflow.

but what do u think the gigabyte gtx 970 gaming g1 is better then the asus 970 because i saw videos that the gigabyte 970 scored 2 to 4 fps more in some games on same settings on youtube?

omy. first-vsync is there for a reason. 60fps is where the natural eye processes the best.
second- unless you are a robot, you will not notice 2-4fps drop
third- wow relies on cpu power for bottom end fps. so yeah, 178fps while in org is awesome and thats what you get with the card, your in-raid, fighting ManyWhelps fps is based on your cpu. save money on card, put it in the cpu.

DISCLAIMER-THIS IS FOR WOW, I HAVE NO CLUE HOW OTHER GAMES WORK.

wel my cpu wil be the best the i7 4790k and my memory to and run on 2400 mhz i think i wil go for the gigabyte i like the 3 coolers on the gpu:) but im not only playing wow im going back to shooting games aswel like battlefield 4 killing floor 2 csgo etc with all my aimbots:) i think other games wil be fine aswel i saw some setups with the gtx 970 and 4790k cpu it was fine

I think its the routines that create the fps drops, different routines have different amount of fps drops, also each individual character will have different fps without the bot going due to addons and other factors that I am not sure I am qualified to guess what it could be, I have noticed my main gets 150fps without the bot but if I go to my healer without a bot he has 50-70 fps, same addons.
