I am looking to a new gaming desktop. I would like to be able to have 5 bots running at the same time. Ive looked at a few computers and I am unsure. I have the knowledge I would like.

ALso want to be able to raid with main account while other 4 are making me rich :)

you must have a really really bad computer. Does not take that much to run only 5 lol.

It will run but probably be choppy.

I'd go for an AMD. A8 5600K.

A computer that can run 5 bots flawlessly will run you 250-300€

So I just have this little wimpy lap top that can run 2 bots its s joke really. I would like to keep in around $500USD but if its closer to 1000$ USD id could manage that in a few months. I have four buddy keys. I would like to be able to use all four and play one account by myself tones of fun like that I think.

What do you suggest to buy.

Told you, 250-300€ is all you need for 5 bot computer with SSD. No windows though, you'll have to install that yourself.

Mhhh, AMD(60e) + 4-8gb(60-120e) + mainboard(40e) + ssd(69e=120gb) + cpu-cooler =24e(a good one) + 300watt power supply(be quit, 40e) => 290-350e

REMEMBER: you dont need a graphiccard, since there are programs out which are able to disable the rendering. just google a bit :P cant give you more infos.
AMD FX Series FX-4300 +
ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 AMD 760G So.AM3+ Dual Channel DDR3 ATX Retail +
8428808 - 8GB (2x 4096MB) Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 DIMM
350 Watt be quiet! System Power 7 Bulk Non-Modular 80+
Crucial CT128MX100SSD1 120gb
+ if you really want a graphic-card ... buy geforce gt 440 @ebay, i have this small baby and its easy to handle 10-15 bots^^ (if rendering is on :P)

so when he is running 4 bots + plays on the 5th acc by him self he dosen´t need a grafic card? :P

@ctomkinson
i think you should edit the first post -> 4x bot and 1 wow playing (raid?) by yourself i doubt all people gonna read the whole thread.
not sure if it an option for you but you could also "play" on your current pc and have the new one just for the 4 bots.

how much did that run you?

I have a desktop that i would sell toy uo send me a private message ill give you all the details.

No one has mentioned VMs or VPNs. Are you going to be running 5 accounts at the same time on the same IP with the same Hardware ID?

You have either OCed your 4790 or you are actually running a 4790k.

I currently run an I7-4790k at stock clock and it runs 4.0 GHz.

I have not attempted to run many bots, only one. I would imagine your computer runs them quite well though.

My specs:

I7-4790k Processor
16GB DDR3 2033MHz - 2 DIMMs
Radeon R9 295x2 (Currently only $600 on Newegg)
Corsair H100i (Watercooler for the processor, top mounted radiator, closed loop)

-Harddrive Irrelevant... although I have a 2 TB Western Digital HDD and a Samsung 840 Evo SSD.

You won't need more than 8 GB of RAM to do what you want, I just use 16 to future proof with 2 Dimms. Also, Dual Channel RAM is standard, so not really much point worrying about that, also the speed of the RAM matters little. Benchmark tests prove very little differences. Your harddrive won't matter, unless ofcourse you go SSD, you can pick up a small 840 Evo for around $80.

My build cost me about $3,000. But I can play any game on the market at ultra settings with well above 120 fps. On my 4k Monitor, I get about 80FPS on most games.

I've built probably 20 computers between my own, friends and clients. If you need help with a build, you are welcome to PM me.

Running 5 bots on my notebook (i7-3610) and this uses 30-50% of cpu. Graphics set to use integrated graphics and not the nvidia. notebook running quite quiet
you don't need a special setup for that, just be sure to have a decent cpu and some ram (8GB or more)

Why would you consider VM? In the VM setup I saw it showed all the devices as VM. So, is VM really generating a new hardware ID?
