Getting this error when I open gatherbuddy.exe.

Init: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at c.b()
at cl.b(Int32 A_0)
Cannot start - reinstall Gatherbuddy.

Tried reinstalling it and still get it.. Can I get some help please on setting this up?
 
If you have AVG, go to tools -> Advanced Settings -> scroll to bottom and choose Temporarily Disable AVG Protection -> Turn it off, hit ok then turn firewall off.
If you don't have AVG, can you please post any other antivirus you have?

I am using McAfee Total Protection right now.

That is prob why, if you can add all of the files to the firewall. If not then try disabling but a lot of new updates detect that it's connecting to interrupt and without saying it blocks it from accessing the internet. If you can't disable i suggest find something else because that's kinda ridiculous :s
 
okay, well I gave gatherbuddy full access and I am still getting the error from above when I open gatherbuddy.exe. Just a small little box comes up and say that within it.
 
Try to run in admin, last thing i can think of. Also make sure your giving the dll full access to, just pitching ideas at this point.
 
okay, so I ran it as an admin and I got the two boxes and have the Auth/path/get/other box. Do I use my gatherbuddy account for the user and pass? I tried using it and got it sitting there saying attempting authorization and after a while it says failed. I have paid for the bot with my account, 25. Any ideas here shino? I payed for it about 4 hours ago.. Should I let it just wait to confirm?
 
It sends me to a page that just says: BUY GB 25 EUR.

?? confused. I have purchased it.
 
If tony checks this, idk if he can if not supply your invoice number you got wheny ou bought it. Bossland can check it out.
