GatherBuddy needs the following implemented

I totally agree with you and the OP.

What do you suggest they implement in GB to solve these issues?

Gatherbuddy should remain the same. If you keep dying then it's a bad profile.
They said they are going to make a GB plugin for HB. When have they ever promised something and never given it? never in my book, may be a little exaggerated on ETA's but they get it out there.

My 2 cents.

Decent geared, I'm in Cata heroic gear lol. It has nothing to do with that.

First of all, I want to point out that I am not bashing anyone with this post - simply providing facts.

The paid plugin feature (including GB incorporated into HB) was first announced in May 2010 if my memory serves me. Bossland also made a post on 12/9 stating that paid plugins were coming "soon". I know better than to expect anything soon when the devs say "soon" but it's been a long, long time. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/genera...ect-some-trouble-auth-next-10-30-minutes.html

I honestly don't mind the current model, it's been working fine for what I want/need. But the added combat functionality would be nice. In the end, it will (or won't) be done when the devs want it to be. Until then we have to be happy with what we have.

I'll admit to the question going through my head... "How can this guy have been using Gatherbuddy so long, and not know this?". The synapsis that adds 1 + 1 decided the answer must've been '1', I guess. Joke's on me. :D

I just watched my GB bot get ganked because it continuously attacked a warlock pet instead of the master warlock. If you genuinely believe that GB combat can be fixed simply with better macros or badnodes, you are delusional.

It sounds like you want a plugin, so go learn coding and make one for yourself? Gatherbuddy is designed to be fast, very efficient and small. The reason there making the Honorbuddy plugin is for the reason's your suggesting, but until then just deal with it. If your on a PvP server idk why for a farming toon, but if your getting this mad about it, switch servers unless your on your main account (which is silly imo, but then again some people don't have the money / feel like spending the money on alt accounts). If your talking about the warlocks in say mount hyjal and not in pvp then yes it is your macro, my DK can kill those things at level 80 with ease, i have my pet stun and then just nuke it, either way gatherbuddy is very efficent for what it's designed to do if you actually care to make it work right.

And to the rest of you QQing, as people have said before, your at the hands of the programmers. Yes, you do pay for this but yes, there is nothing flawless. I would rather have all of the bugs out of it and HB then have new features added, which would lead to more bugs and just take longer to update. Yes wait times are a little ridic some times but hey, at least they supply.

I fully understand why GB doesn't have good combat. It's simple. Then it would be HB, HB doesn't have flight(at this time) because it then would be GB.

I understand. But here is the thing. You can still have both.

Give the better combat version only available to Lifetime members, because lifetime members get it all anyways. It doesn't matter.

Keep the Poor shitty combat on GB for the normal monthly and yearly users and then have a GB with better combat only available for Lifetime users. It would fix the whole problem. Just a matter of Authentication.

I mean this because the new paid plugin for flight on HB is free to Lifetime members. So why not have better non bot like GB for Paidplugins or even just Lifetime members. You will increase the number of sales and have more cash flow.

like better unstuck logic.. 95% of the time a simple strafe left or right would unstuck the bot from tree branches or other random little obstacles, but it (the bot) does this big fly up move left 30 yards then fly back down... looks very bottish
like an option to find it's corpse so it doesnt sit and wait 10 mins or try botting with res sickness.. deaths are unavoidable.. doesnt matter how good the bot is, you're gonna die once in a while.. having to wait 10 mins slows everything down.

dont get me wrong, i love GB.. use it just about every night.. but there is alot of room for improvements.

its like you are talking about Hb with flying mounts support
you are not talking about Gb for sure

and again
Gb is made to be simple and fast
its a gathering bot and till now it does the job 100%
