How safe is leveling with honorbuddy now?

Hello,

This might be a stupid question, but i already botted 8 chars to 100 and i need 1 more. from 25 to 100, lately i've been keeping track of the ban section of the forum and it scares me alot how much ppl get banned each day. I really need another lvl 100 but i don't want to risk getting banned on this account due to multiple glad/r1 titles.

So if i do it safe is honorbuddy still as safe as it use to be?

pls for the love of gold, if you are worried about your account, do not ever bot on it.

if you have indeed been browsing the forums, you would have seen this advice again and again.

its simple, botting has a very real level of danger. no one can control the way you play your account and no one can guarantee you will play to someone elses standard.

knowing this, advice from anyone will not apply to you. sure, i can tell you its safe to use questbot, but its not, people have been banned that way. i could tell you Enyo is safe, but people have been banned using it.



BOTTING IS DANGEROUS, WE DO IT ANYWAY. MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS. DO YOU RISK IT? NO ONE CAN MAKE THIS DECISION FOR YOU.
blah blah blah, cause you've already stopped reading and started working on your response that will somehow include a different version of your original question.
 
thanks, and if you like the post, pls rep me with the scary looking fist under my name. sometimes i cant tell if the fist is happy good guy or angry going to hit you if you get close.

i think the OP was interested in leveling a toon on his main, rather than suicide botting. and raffing suicide bots is awesome, but i did get a ban this week doing that. so beware.


here is a work around that may be safer than others. requires no botting on your main, but technically its still against the tos. get a second account Raf it to your main. use questbot to level 2 characters on the second account. then use the grant a levels to boost a toon on your main. remember you get one grant a level for every 2 levels gained on your farm account.

again. its botting, but its less botting than actually doing it on your main account. also, as a bonus, when you pay your second month on your boost account, you get a free month on your main. pay your third month and you get a free mount on your main. if you arent in a hurry, id recommend waiting a couple weeks before using the grant a levels, im pretty sure you have three months to use them. starting at the time you RaF the accounts together. it may put a little distance between your main and the boost account.

I guess it depends on how badly you "need" to have a 9th level 100 character.

I imagine the risk of getting caught is probably the same as when you botted the first 8 characters, but you're risk of loss increases with each bit of value you add to an account that's at risk of being banned.

you "need" another 100.

sounds to me like you "need" something else entirely.

mebbe his guild is having trouble recruiting and he needs to swap to a mage for group comp. but dang, he just doesnt have one, wonder if he could use hb to level one real quick. maybe post on the forums for advice on how to minimize the dangers of botting on his main.
 
dont listen to a few of these asshats, ive leveld 1-100 in approx 3-4 days botting (approx 16 horus a day) through kicks questing. KNOCK ON WOOD I have never been banned. But as second poster said, bot at your own risk. Any botting is always going to be dangerous botting... to an extent

... and then you'll get people like this. They are the exception. The lucky ones. The ones on dead servers, the ones on EU, the ones who level during dead hours.

You are not the exception. Kicks will get you banned if you get caught multiple times by other players going over the same hotspots, or getting stuck in a rock, or getting camped by an opposing faction.

Every form of botting carries this risk. Don't bot on an account you don't want to risk, or just bot sparingly and 100% monitor the bot with LogMeOut set up.

First leson i learned was to respect the road.

Second was there was three types of riders...
Those that have BEEN down
Those that WILL GO down
And
Those that lie about it

Both apply to botting


But its notmaly not beacuse of same points wow dosnt use local point moniyoring like rift / lineage (think it was these 2)

Normaly its because a npc has changed and bot is stuck humping a paper doll
