Seriously, I've leveled every class and the mage spends more time running back to its corpse than actually doing anything.

I had the same problem. So bad, I eventually said "f" it, and just finished leveling it by hand, which resulted in me going from 38 to 100 in three days time. HB and the Mage just does not get along when it comes to it leveling due to all of its casting times.

this would all depends on ur CR too i bet u was using Singular, Singular is nice for a default one but with some classes u just need something better, i had this problem with a shadow priest until i changed to something different

^This, This, This, This! I cant stress enough how important the spec & CR during leveling is. Pretty sure u would have not had these problems with singular if u used a spec which uses alot of instant casts @ op.

Did u use looms ? If yes which?

It's because most combat routines don't kite very well. Normal users would move around, mix instants with hard-casts... but the bot will just stand still and get hit -> die.

I have no Problems with Singular. Simply Turn Off Pull More and everything should work fine ;-)

Mage is horrible to level. Even doing proving grounds with them is a pain. Better stand clear of them since they are very gear dependant.

Mages are terrible to level and probably one of the more easy classes to spot botting with. Mainly because a player controlled mage will root, kite, blink away turn around, etc. A bot does none of this and anyone who uses common sense, sees you out there questing, could very well report you

lol this is so funny. ive hand leveled 4 mages to 90. and then recently started using HB and my experience is the exact opposite. mine would kite, root, cc....things i didnt do while hand leveling. although i did have to turn off pull more. mages are squishy. its twoo

Have level'd 2 Mage's to 100 with Portal Premium. No problem att all. Portal have a super easy GUI that is easy to understand, even if you don't know Mage routine 100%
