Botters reporting other botters

Just wanted to say its sad other people that bot or botted and get reported roam around in areas just so they report other players and wisp with them you are reported enjoy the ban if you are banned deal with it . reporting all other botters just make things worse . enjoy people
 
congrats for bringing another turn on the wheel of hate. You should not report other botters if you bot yourself. Just coz he reported you doesn't mean he was botting, maybe he wasnt, god knows.
 
1. If you're botting you don't want to make ANY reports that draw attention to your account.
2. It takes more than one report to take action on an account. (people regularly misreport or plain lie about op esp. in bg's)

If you got such a wisp it was someone fishing for a response. It could have been anyone (even a botter) but I suspect otherwise. At any rate it's a non-event.

I did this. I turned in a Raider in my guild.

There's a very specific reason for it too....When your using a CR, and all you have to worry about is minor mechanics and the occasional CD management, You better shut the fuck up and not go around throwing your high and mightyness around because your not even doing the hardest part. Guy felt the need to belittle people and constantly put them on blast during progression...People who were doing shit by hand, and legit.

Fuck that. If you bot, you better not as much as splash into the pool when diving.

Nope not gloating but constantly putting down, insulting, how come I can do this and you can't do that, etc...Re-read it again, I guess high and mightyness means something different around these parts. Forum ban for what? I just gave you the reasoning.

And yea I read my forum name, I typed it....The point I was trying to make is that if your using a CR, you don't have a pot to shit in or a window to throw it out of when it comes it game play.
 
I understand the point and yet ... the unwritten rule of botting is that you do not report another botter, period; not buts, "reasons", "realizations", "rationality" etc.

He's probably talking about the forum rule of automatic permaban off the forum for reporting other botters, its in the Faq thread in announcements.

I thought it was written somewhere? Hell i felt bad one day i pointed out bots to a guildy and he reported them all. I didnt even do the reporting and i felt bad.
 
It is written. And it is wrong. If you bot.. you damn well better keep your mouth shut about other botters. I don't care if they gloat or not.

I'd like to quote all the subsequent posts made by you, and others, but the forums won't let me. I'm not going to get on your case about what you did like others did. I just want to say that it's written that if you bot you do not report other botters. I do understand that you wanted to get rid of the douche bag for belittling your fellow group mates, especially since they were playing in a legit manner. Not everyone feels safe botting, so they play legit, and sure they may not top meters, but they're trying. It's not right, no matter who you are, to berate someone for how they play. Not everyone is a hardcore WoW savant that can top meters manually. I get the reason and the urge to exact revenge. It's just a "no no" though. It's just not right. It's like cheating on a game yourself while calling out others for cheating on the same game, lol.

Sorry, I lost my train of thought and went off track, so I'm just going to close up now. Just try not to report other botters anymore. It's just bad to do.

honestly from a standpoint of a goldseller. nothing wrong with giving the competetion a blue eye here and there.
 
if someone uses a cr and gets mad at you for messing up or calls u bad loll they arent any better i agree with the dude whoturned a raider in

reporting botters is an offense here on the forums i believe banable
 
Well then I broke a rule and will meet whatever consequence of that rule breaking gets me. I stand corrected.

To that end... I say this...

When you are breaking the rules, and your cheating, and your already in the wrong, you forfeit your ability to cast judgment on those who aren't doing what your doing. While it is true that you don't have too, You also then open up the door to the ramifications of your actions. If I was a politician and my ticket was based on a Family type campaign and I degraded and punished those who dare go against my campaign type....but then it was discovered I was having an affair, Wouldn't folks have a right to attack that flaw? Look I'm not saying going on a police mission to be the end all be all, but at the end of the day folks, there is no honor amongst thieves.
