Privitized Gold selling

Well it has happened. About a year ago my friend and i decided to go ahead and purchase HB to use to get out characters to 80 faster with out us having to do it. We quickly realized we could get characters from 1-60 and sell those accounts. We started making enough money to start activating TBC and Wrath on accounts, getting them to 80, and selling them for even more and still be making profits.

Well a couple months ago, around July/August, the market for accounts and gold went right down the drain. I mean i could sell an account to even break even on what i spent to upgrade it fully. So i stopped. We saved what money we had and put it aside for the upcoming xpac. At the launch i walked out of Best Buy with 10 cataclysm boxes. My friend also walked out with 10 boxes as well. The looks on peoples faces was priceless.

"Why do you have 10 of them?" I was asked, and my reply? "I pay rent by playing wow".

Well here it is about 3 weeks into the xpac and here is what im running:

3 level 85 Mages
3 level 85 warlocks
2 level 85 paladins
1 level 85 warrior
1 level 85 druid

Here is what my friend is running:
5 level 85 mages
2 level 85 warriors
3 level 85 paladins

We both run our bots 24/7 with private profiles. We are currently running on 15 different US servers and plan on expanding to 30 come February 1st. We have multiple private buyers as we are currently bringing in so much gold that our companies we sell to are not selling it fast enough for us to continue to supply them. We have thought about selling publicly but we have not done any serious movement toward it.

I will not share my currently monthly income but i can tell you it pays my 4 bedroom house rent, with some left over to pay other bills.. most of the time.

I just wanted to say thank you very much to the entire HB Dev team, you guys rock. Thank you very much for bringing botting to the next level.

EDIT: Ok i have been getting alot of PM's saying "where do you farm, dont worry it wont effect you, i play on low pop servers" or "i play on EU". First of all, there are plenty of public farming profiles out there that honestly, do bring in a crap ton of gold. CC' are also a very big help. If you are using the default ones (yes they are still good) and you are saying to your self "this works fine, so what ever i dont need a CC", please stop being lazy and go download one. They help you kill things faster wich means more gold.

I will not tell you how to find private buyers, because.. there is a perfectly good guide on how to do it your self created by "Kick"

i bot as a hobby. i wouldn't ever make my rent depend on it.....

what happens WHEN all your accounts get banned when a blizz employee finally looks at one of your accounts? you're out on the street...lmfao.
 
mate thats true... but everybody should take his own decission ... if that will happen he?s gone... so what? and you are still botting.. so he is old enough i would never do that too .. hobby/small income it?s okay for the most .
 
When all my accounts are banned for botting and exploitation of game economy, then ill quit. nothing more, nothing less. It is fun. But i wont be doing this for the rest of my life.
 
do you have a bag where you hide some money for the risk that will happen some day?
 
that?s what he meant... if you loose all your accounts you cant sell any gold cant pay your rent.. and you go on the street ?
 
its not just me living in this house.. there are other people. :P its not like this is my life and how i get by from day to day.
 
That's great, though you don't even put any money back incase you loose all your account's and you brag on a botting forum on how you earn cash which will bring more people in and hurt your business.

I don't understand this thread at all from your point of view, looks like you and your friend need to re-look at your business methods.
