I was using a new vpn provider was botting strong for 1 week my char went from level 1 to 70 in 1 week.
They banned the 10 accounts at the same time, the account no.10 was a new account level 25 i levelled manually and got a ban.
the 9 other account we're duelist flicker striker same spec, kinda same gear, farming merciless act 3 with advancedgrindzonechanger docks, catacomb, lunaris level 3.
Botted beetween 8-16 h a day.
I was using Questplugin and at level 50 something I was stuck getting killed to much, so I wanted to grind some level but my advancedgrindzonechanger was not working at this time
so I put some of my bot farming lunaris temple level 3 cruel for like 5-6h without changing zone.
Never traded items beetween them, juste bought some item on poe.xyz with there own currency.
I'm using sandboxie with proxifier to change all bots IP.
What I did wrong? Do you think my Proxy went down and they saw my real IP? Cause my IP is banned atm.
Hope someone can give me some tips to get better ;)

Sorry for your lose!

If your main IP was banned and not the VPN IP's then... you have the answer.
Test by firing up a VPN that was used with one of the least 'bot acting but used with the but' accounts and try to create a new account, different email address, and then logon with it.

It could be your VPN setup went to shit.. and that all 10 accounts were using your main IP address.

My main IP was already banned a long time ago, but if my vpn disconnect do you think the bot will still play with my main IP or the client will get DC too. I'm using proxifier to assign Ip to each of my client.

Should I use something like VPN lifeguard?

hmm anyway, by nice if you made the test.
It is such a shit setting up new VPN IP's.

>VPN lifeguard
I use something like that.

I think it was a combination of

1 week my char went from level 1 to 70

and

Proxy went down and they saw my real IP?

and
I was using a new vpn provider

shitty VPN provider, there is so much troubles and blacklisted IPs with them which increase chance to get banned by 100%
GGG has tons of data they collected from all the botters and their VPNs.

Of course most VPN provider will claim they got a extremely wide range of IP's but in fact you are already in higher danger to loose your account.

Source? you seem to have a lot of hate about botting since your recent ban story :)

no hate. And i am not 100% sure.

just my personal experience from the last years and many stories from different forums and bot-seller.
I already tried other bots before on different systems, different VMs, different VPN provider.
Sooner or later all resulting in bans . GGG is effective with their bans, we all know. They were lazy at the start of PoE, but in the last 2 years they learned fast.

I invested quit a lot of time but i never found out at which point GGG was 1 step ahead.

IP?
VPN?
Hardware-IDs?
Botting-Style? (area switch, overlevel, hours/day)
Leveling-Questing Style? (i guess the most bans already start here)
Stucks?
manually supervising?
Others reporting after they did 1 trade with a botter?

I guess a mixture of all.

Many botter (including me) seem to already fail when it comes to the first 3 points:

IP?
VPN?
Hardware-IDs?

They test around with stupid VPN provider, try to switch IP, try out different programs to keep the VPNs IP up, try out different programs to switch Hardware ID,…
With more or less sucess because much is freeware and not 100% working as intented.

And of course no one who’s running a stable EB-Bot more than ~3 months will share his „perfect“ setup ;)

I have some bots running for now 2 months, I only interact with em when I have to shuffle currency, or sell/buy wisdom/portal scrolls :)
Same IP for 2 months, no issues.
Oh, IP & VPN are the same pretty much !
HWID is a "security" not a "ban-proof" alternative.
My setup is simple : VPN + Proxifier in a VM.

By "keeping the VPNs IP up" you probably talking about multiple IP range providers, which is the worst solution to take imho.
I bot for now 5-6 years, not only on PoE, and somehow always managed to make profit. (good ol' d3 days with rmah :D)

There's a way to keep bots alive (not for years, but atleast months) but you have to be clever, and think about shit ton of things ;) (bot behaviors, builds, itemization, interactions...)

So yeah, take your time while leveling, have a dedicated IP for each bot, never switch. Don't farm overleveled zones for hours, don't create many many many instances, and you should be safe for a while.

Do you think it's good to use advancedgrindzonechanger to overlevel the zone by 3-4 level to make sure the questplugin have easier time questing after.
And using 2-3 zone / act is enough? did any of try to bot 24/24 7/7 right after the account creation and see long many it take to get banned.
And when you trade currency it is safe to use guild storage to put account from bot to guild, guild to seller account, seller to client.

Basically, you don't have to "switch" zones while leveling, it was right for the higher levels (farming docks, *cough*) just care about the zone level.
24/7 doesn't matter if you're smart enough, even after account creation.

Guild stash is safe to use, been using it and it's fine so far.

but i am sure you don't use a free VPN service, right?
even paid VPN sometimes suck (disconnects and other strange things)

i have to admit i don't know anything about Proxifier. I thought it's more than enough to hide behind VPN with a static IP.

And yeah - i also think its important to invest enough time while leveling. But there are some people around here who just equip facebreaker stuff found from another bot and rush like hell... without a ban.

even if you level slow and then start your bot after this it looks very suspicious.

well... its hard to decide.

1) No, I don't. but you can find some alternatives to expansive prices (linux huehue)
2) Proxifier is just a freeware to setup the vpn to specific processes, like Tor or some bullshit
3) It's all about luck/rng
4) Tbh, I just 1-Click-Go from level 1 to XX, I stop it to upgrade gear else it's getting raped :D and it has been working for a while.

when you are around level 65-70, you start mapping or you farm piety?

What proxies were you using? Have you tried a personal one. Go for it on buy.fineproxies.org website. I always get one there in such a situation. It will surely work

most VPN Provider already come with a software installer - is there any advantage to use proxifier?
damn... it's hard to understand and learn if you aren't network technician :)
actually i try to decide which VPN-provider i should pay for... and which region i should connect.combined with the situation that i eventually need fresh IPs if old ones got banned.
i guess countries like german and poland have a high percentage of botters so i should use another one ^^

Why *24/7 doesn't matter* ?
If you bot 1 computer = 1 bot
If you farm mix maps/boss and trade/chat with people
If you don't stuck for long time
its ok for botting 15-24 hours a day?

1) It's the #1 rule in botting, go hard or go home, never bot on an account you're afraid to lose (well, this is partially true, you're always afraid.)
2) not really 1 computer, but 1 partition/volumeID/HWID
3) Mix maps, yeah, running maps? even better. You don't need to "chat" but atleast do some currency shuffle if you can, or buy items on websites like poe.xyz or .trade
4) You should NEVER EVER stuck for a long time.
5) It's okay, whatever people can say. 8-10h botting peeps are not "safer" than 24h ones. once they hit, you cry. even for 8-10.

Yea but they doesn't track people for playing 24/24? you get ban faster?
