Season 2 ends April 5th, get ready to lay low.

will it be longest update time for demonbuddy when patch 2.2 coming?

I mean I heard in patch 2.2 they change whole files system and packet extension.

If Blizz is planning a ban wave at the end of Season 2 then it's unlikely that they'll wait to the very end to start looking for bots. Whether your account is flagged or not, stopping now won't change much.

Of course, there's no telling for sure how they detect D3 bots. If they can detect the mere presence of the bot controlling the game then your only hope is that your account is one of the detected ones that doesn't get banned (they don't ban 100% of detections for obvious reasons).

On the other hand, if they're detecting bots with some kind of statistical data then it's possible that they'll pay more attention during the xp boost looking for people going 24-7 or something. Who knows.

Personally I'm not stopping, but at the same time I'm not botting 24-7. I don't think it'll save my account or anything, I just want to see if I still get banned even when I'm not being abusive with the bot. If I do get banned, no big loss.

websites called EPICNPC or Playerauctions for people to sell accounts they don't use (or idiots that try to sell high level botted ones for silly money)

To make it more difficult to figure out what detection method they used.

The first thing people do when there is a mass ban wave is look for patterns in the bot usage of those who botted (how much, when, what was used, etc). By not banning 100% of detections there will always be people saying "I did X, Y, and Z and didn't get banned, so I don't think it's any of those."

Banning 100% would allow bot/hack creators to narrow down the possibilities much more easily, making them harder to detect in the future.

It's true, stop botting near the end of a season is virtually a psychological effect. There is actually very little ways you can control whether you get banned or not (outside of not botting entirely) but STOP botting is one of them. Who knows, maybe Blizzard look at stopped account and think "well this guy seems to have stopped botting, maybe we'll let him off the hook", then they looks at a nonstop account and thinks "this guy will never learn, I'm dropping the hammer." Or...Blizzard are looking to just make 20% of us an example. Who's more likely to go? The 247s....the multi-botters.

At the very least, you will have no regret and won't be asking yourself "what could I have done?" (again, aside from not botting at all) when that hammer drops on you anyway. If you were just destined to not get banned, all that you've lost is a few weeks of botting.
 
So when do you think D-day will happen for this season guys? April 3rd maybe since its just one week before the season starts just like feb 6th last time or maybe a bit of variance

yeah, i had 2200 hours played on my sader, finally just said fuck it botted 20 hrs straight (i know suicidal.. but wanted the furnace really bad) ended up getting the Furnace along with a perma band the next week lols
 
I have been botting 24/7 for the last few months but the first few days of the buff i stopped and i jumped back on
 
I hit para 810+ with exp bonus, stopped bot entirely after it farmed me 1500 fragments in about 30 hours(raekor barb with illusory boots, zerg mode avoid diablo/izual bounties) hes got almost 400hrs played in s2, has found 3 ancient furnaces, 1 was gambled. 1 and the best of the 3 I found playing manually. This is after I put 200 hours of botting rift t6 full on my monk, gambling 2h weapons(100k shards at least) and getting no furnace. Only to see about 15 of them on my barb, 3 ancients. Waiting to see what new season will be like, or when a ban wave will hit. Haven't botted in like a week+ so we'll see. Can always start over again fresh account on season 3 if its worth playing, otherwise I may go back to WoW and give it a shot.
 
I've been botting pretty much nonstop - Had like 5k hours before season aswell... Still haven't received a ban.

At the moment im just perma botting 24/7 - just to see if they really go after me... Im currnetly lvl 800 nonseason, and 750~ season.. That is on HC..

Do you have any proof or data backing up your statement? I'm not saying youre wrong, but to play devil's advocate we don't know if blizzard only does ban waves at certain times despite "logging everything".

Don't jump the gun yet, server maintenance happening in the next 14 hours or so for the patch so anything could happen. We're not out of the clear yet.
