The Google play store store allows people to rate the things they buy. This rewards developers who make good apps with good publicity and punishes developers who make crap. It's really hard to know if it's worth spending money on profiles in the buddy store. I think this is a really important feature and should be implemented.

Not only that if you write reviews your review can be deleted and you'll get warned. Apparently it is against the TOC of this site to "Compare work", especially if they like the Developer.

reviews and ratings directly on the buddy store would be a welcome sight

there is a lot of good and a lot of crap so itd be helpful to see

Hi, UdBuddy,

We do have a rating system planned. It is captured as HB-1064 ("Testimonial / Rating option for store?"), but is not being publicly tracked. We greatly understand the importance of getting such a system in place. However, there are more pressing issues to solve at the moment. And as always, everyone thinks their pet issue is always the 'most important'. All we can say is some progress has been made towards it, but the work is not yet complete.

Hi, Pheelgood,

Each Support thread has "Thread Management Rules" clearly posted in the first post. If you cannot abide by them, you should not be posting in that Support thread.

You should be able to competently critique a product (and provide the log file to support your opinion), without resorting to comparisons to other products. If you cannot do this, then you should be 'using the other product', instead.

cheers,
chinajade

to be fair quite a lot of the more prolific developers have support threads associated with their products, I read the last 10 or so pages on the thread before making a decision as this A) gives you an idea of the state of the purchase and B) gives you an idea of the level of support the developer is giving it.

They should hire more people if they are so behind. Tons of places to have people do projects, like this one. Put what you want them to do, how much you will pay them hourly or per job and you will have hundreds of people reply with their qualifications and costs. I have hired a few people to do similar stuff like this, when you can hire people from India its super cheap, probably cost you $50 if that.
