Farming gold for profit.

Alright, so out of pure boredom today, thanks to no HB lol. I decided to do a little math and see if it would be worth it to farm gold to sell or not.

Unless your running alot of accounts, your not going to get rich that's for damn sure.

So, you buy 5 accounts at $20 per account. That's $100 to start.
Then you add the $15 a month sub per account, that's another $75
Say you run all 5 accounts at an avg of 500 GPH. Per account. Your making about 2500 GPH
Now say you run a 8 hour day, you get 20k a day GPH
Now say your doing this daily (prepare for ban) that works out to around 600k a month

Now the avg price I found to sell gold for is between .0004-.0007 per gold WOW Gold Hot Buying Online, Sell World of Warcraft Gold Keep Safe

So you sell all your gold to them for $420 a month.
Take your initial cost of $100 out of that, you are left with $320 a month. $345 after that.

Not a bad monthly take as long as you don't get banned, but your not going to get rich doing it.

Now it's been a long day and my math might be off, but overall as long as you don't mind loosing an account every now and then, I'd say it's worth it if anything to at least pay for your main account(s).

oh dear jezus christ lord of hail maria.. those numbers - I'm sorry, but non of that is remotely close to accurate.
 
500 GPH per account = 2500 GPH x 8 hours = 20k per day x 30 days = 600000

now you sell that 600000 for .0007 per gold = $420 a month

take your initial $100 out of that $420 and your left with $320 the first month

after that your only paying for the sub, $15 per account x 5 accounts = $75

so $420 - $75 is $345 a month in your pocket.

People don't pay $20 per account.
People don't add a month membership to their accounts when they buy them.
I believe the average GPH should be more than 500g.
Said that 1g was .0004-.0007USD, .0007 is reaching a little far, as far as I know. Even .4 per k is kinda high I believe still.
Also should probably take into account costs of electricity etc, based on your machine running.

Edit: some other things need to be accounted for too, but don't have the time/recollection to list them all.

And I was being nice on the 500GPH, I tend to make more than that but for the beginners I figure 500GPH is fair.

The selling price can be based on whatever you would like it to be, but actually selling as a person who farms small amount for themselves is far different.
If you're paying $20 per account you're using to bot on, you should look into it a bit more before throwing money away.
 
Like I said, this was done out of boredom lol. If you want to go pro, I'm sure there are cheaper start up costs if you look into it. Again this is for beginners.

The main issue wasn't the start up costs, though still an issue.
If you're going into gold selling expecting to be selling at those rates you'll be unpleasantly surprised.
 
use 1/2 price link, cost is $50 or $10 per account. , no subs as 30 days included ...if they live that long.
600gph is doable easily, healer goes to dps and os heals only
0.0007 is dreaming, .0003 is more on par, .0004 if lucky.
now double or triple your 8 hrs per day

this is more realistic and what I am doing for last 2 months.

LMAO this is for beginners im a beginner and i dont pay 20$ per account anyone with common sense should know that ..... sorry to come off rude but while u pay 20$ per account i can get 5 for 25 o.o
 
alright now I'm curious, where do you get a fresh account for $5?
 
buying keys for battlechest = free month. You'll eb banned in the month too.

This is the "5$" link most people were using but since then it was reverted to a 10$ link then stopped working all together ( since this patch ) so unless you have used your 5 for 25 in the past few days it doesnt work. And if you are just buying them from a reseller then you are just abusing stolen credit cards

if you are eu just change the us.battle.net to eu.battle.net there are other methods that involve switching payment methods and currencies as well that people use to play the system for cheaper accounts as well.

ya we all used that one but moerrts said he can still get 5 accounts for 25, its that working link I would like shared.
 
In eu 1 key costs around 3 euro. You just need to jump some hoops to do it.
You should be boting 24/7.
At worst you should be doing 12k gold on each account. 500gph
If you sell on bulk 0.15 0.23 euro is the price you shall normally get. (with demand and proper relationship and understanding with buyers more).

Should be making around 10 euro a day with 5 man team.
