There seems to be a plague happening where you que for randoms, and it will just sit there for hours and hours on end without anything happening. I botted for 13 hours, and had a 13 hour que for a random, where as the second account that was botting got in all of them.

PURPOSE: to kill the BG Random bug.

Whats needed: After xxx minutes (user defined) drop que, and reque for the BG unless you are in the BG already.

Willing to donate a nice amount of money for someone to create one.

yes PLEASE can some1 make a plugin for this?

I just woke up and saw my toon in a random BG for 8 whole hours
I literally almost threw my laptop out of the window...


I would really appreciate it if somebody would take the initiative!!
 
At the moment no, this is my second plugin for HB and somewhat more involved than the other ;)

It's getting late here so I'll wrap up and continue tomorrow. I should have a better idea when I'm working on it tomorrow how long it will take to complete. I may be able to get it done tomorrow or it may take the weekend I would guess at.

done. Mr.BgRePop, checks the currently queued bg's time, and if that exceeds X amount of time it leaves the queue, Honorbuddy when set to pvp mode will automatically re-queue after it leaves.

by default the plugin will check every the queue status every minute, if the queue status time is more then an hour (by default) it will leave then Honorbuddy will automatically re queue, this Hour can be changed manually in the plugin. but this will hopefully do what you want.

Yay! more of my life wasted creating something that in fact no one wanted.
 
Not a waste, Codename... Definitely one of the more useful plugins! Worked flawlessly over night... or at least I didn't wake up to an 8 Hour queue!
 
Just an update to earlier posts. As CnG's posted up a solution I'll stop working on mine and carry on with other projects.

CnG, great to see you're working hard for the guys here. Just a small request, could you post when you start working on something so that people aren't duplicating work?

i worked saw people needed it, and while i saw your post, this really only took around an 2 hours, 1 for Poking at lua, and the other for actual coding and testing. its not like it worked days on it or something.
 
That's not really the point I was making CnG. It would have saved ME time as this is my second plugin and I had to do more research than you would from experience. Please, when you start working on something, and especially if you see someone else say they're working on it, make a post. It takes seconds and saves someone wasting their time which I could have more appropriately used on other projects.
 
i cant see the MrBgRePop in plugins of HB, but i copied into the Plugins folder.
Isnt it working anymore or did I something wrong?

or you could just finish learning and make it, theres always more then one way to skin a cat. and besides like i said it took me all of 2 hours to make it. even if i had sent you a pm when i started you wouldn't of actually checked or received it till after i finished. if you want it, then fine you can have it, there's a reason why i didn't make a whole new thread in the plugins section for it.

you shouldn't let what other people do influence what you want to do, if i did i would of never made amplify. or ever coded anything because there as you put it, "waste of time" to make a competing Mage CC.

This plugin isn't working for me Codename =/
I changed it from the default 1 hour to 900000
That's 15 minutes right? Or did I do something wrong?
