Hi,

I am currently running into a small problem. When I launch archeage using archebuddy I always have to go to the game options and turn off tutorials and add access to the last 2 skillhotbar. Is there any way for me to predefine that I would like for the tutorial not to show and the hotbars to show up?

If i launch the game by itself my settings are correct.

Thanks,

Delete all files in AA documents folder (c:\ArcheAge\Documents\).
Launch AA manually without AB, do all settings what you want and go to character select screen.
Relogon at your character and close game.
Try to launch AA through AB. In most cases it's fix the problem.

Hi Pardon,

I just finished trying that but still the same problem. :( Any other ideas?

After your making all settings look at: c:\ArcheAge\Documents\User\Data\account\@YOURSERVER\@YOURCHARACTER
and post here names of all files in this folder.

Hi,

actionBarValues.g
screenResolution.g
ui_bound_petBar.g
uiMapIconDatas.g

Kinda interesting that there is a c:\archeage\.... and c:\archeage0\.... One seem to be the pointer to another.

I am running Windows 8.0 and running the update as administrator.

If I go in the game using Glyph and set the keybinds, shortcut ui display and helmet display and logout correctly and go back in using Glyph, everything is correct. If enter the game again with buddy everything is reset back to original. Before I ran Buddy i copied the files listed above into another folder to have them as backup after I made the changes I wanted in game. I went back in using buddy, noticed everything was changed. Logged out the game, copied the files back into place and logged back in using glyph and everything was incorrect still. I am not sure if those files listed above control the showing of the UI, keybinds and helmet display.

Thanks,

there is huge performance difference on client when you run with select server and character its super fast, when you dont select server and character client is all sluggish!

Hi,

I have spoken with other people using the bot. It looks like this is a bug as it happens to everyone. How do we report bugs here?

It's a Archeage bug. Archeage dosn't developed for multiclient working and sometimes save settings wrong.
Some bug appear for many peoples, who didn't use AB.
Delete folders Archeage and Archeage0 and repeat:
Launch AA manually without AB, do all settings what you want and go to character select screen.
Relogon at your character and close game.
Try to launch AA through AB.

Hi Pardon,

I will try it again. Are you saying that after you done that you are able to successfully run 2 clients at one time without having to do your skills and settings each time]]]]]?

Hi Pardon,

I deleted the 2 folders 3 times in a row now. This is what I did:

1) Deleted both folders.
2) Logged in without buddy.
3) Set all my settings.
4) Logged off correctly.
5) Logged back in without buddy. (the settings were still there)
6) Logged off correctly.
7) Logged in with buddy, settings are gone.
8) Logged back in without buddy. (settings were gone).
9) Rinse and repeat 2 more times for good measure.

I am not sure its the same issue you were seeing. I didn't run 2 instances of the game during the steps above so in theory it should not have the problem you mentioned after deleting the files right?

Yes, you are right.
But I well remember what the problems appear with a large number of players at the start of AA year ago in Russia.
A half of players have a configuration problems. Mail.ru (publisher) fix problems patch by patch, but at this moment sometimes options are reset. All what I try to say - AA is very terribly works with own config files/

AB can't changes the config files of AA, the game load it by self. Why it didn't load proper settings when launching - i don't know. May be AB didn't specified proper workdir or something else. Or AA detecting a "new" runpath and creating a new settings but haven't rights to write it.

P.S. Does folder Archeage0 appears after last launches?

Hi,

Yes, the Archeage0 appears after its launched.

I wish one of the developers would review this.

Copy all content from Archeage to Archeage0, and launch with AB.
After that check folder Archeage1 (created or not)

Hi,

After trying to copy it, I have found that it created a hard link to it. It looks like its a folder but in reality they both point to the same content. So if i delete a file in Archeage the file is also deleted in ARcheage1.
