Ways you make your gold... safely

I'm getting a team of 5 bot together and going to dungeonbuddy RAF to level them to 90.
I planned on doing dungeonbuddy once at 90 in MoP dungeons for gold but looking around I see it isnt safe? I also notice that alot of guys run their bots 24/7. Would it be safe If I ran 5 hours off 2 hours then back on 5 hours, during "normal" playing hours?

Or... Would continuously doing x5 RAF dungeonbuddy leveling be an efficient way to make gold? How about farming? All using the same formula 5 hours on 2 hours off etc... Very very curious and interested to hear stories from people about what you do to make gold and how long your botting hours are. I would like to know some of the following things:

1) How long do you bot a day?

2) Using what method (farming, dungeonbuddy, etc)

3)Were you banned before, if so what method were you using and how long was the session?

4) Do you think 5 hours on 2 hours off and 5 hours back on is a good formula?

5) What are some good ways to make gold using a 5 bot team (together or separate) atleast 100k a week?

used to bot 14 bots in d3. Heard alot of horseshit and ways to stop bans but i just did 24/7. Lasted just as long as the others playing it safe. I even read how one guy made fake convo's between his bots to appear real lol. Just go all in and stop pussy footing around
 
Are there ways to macro in fake convos in dungeonbuddy??? Like make the macros go automatically after some time like a real convo taking place?
 
Who plays 5 hours, then takes a break for 2 hours and then plays for another 5 hours? I mean, the point of doing that would be to make it look realistic, but youre kinda screwing that up. I think youre overthinking that part of your plan. Nolifers play all day every day, people play legit for 12-16 hours a day. If you have work or school or that kinda stuff, you can play for maybe 4-5 hours a day. 5 hours a day isnt even worth botting. The only reason you should take breaks botting, is if you want your accounts to last for long periods of time. Running accounts 24/7 will get punished within 2-4 weeks (in my experience). You can run accounts for 12-16 hours a day without worrying.

That being said, botting for gold is shit, pardon my french. Everything is nerfed. Dungeons was nerfed. Raids was nerfed. They gave every single person all the mats they will ever need in their Garrison. Old mats are no longer required for anything, since you can craft every Draenor recipe from profession level 1. The point being, you couldnt have chosen a worse time to get on the wagon, and I haven't even mentioned the current gold prices yet. My advice is, dont bother. You wanna make 100k a week? Take some time to research how the Auction House is working, the market on your server and what transmog to farm, put aside 1-2 hours a day farming and flipping items on the AH, you can make 100k a day.

Well thats pretty much defeating the purpose. I dont want to do that shit. lol... Seriously. Thats a job not a game. And no matter how nerfed it is Im pretty sure If i botted 5 hours on and off doing dungeons even making 200g per hour per toon I'd still turn an ok profit. I have maybe 14k gold atm.. thats nothing. So a measley 1k gold an hour for 5 hours on then off and on 5 more hours will still turn 10k a day and 70k a week. Its not much but i'd much rather do it that way then "no life" doing all that shit you described. Thanks though. Anyone else with more positive thoughts? Such negativity. :(

Just my opinion and didn't read too much into it, but if you plan on botting dungeons for a measly 200g per hour per toon, it's not worth the risk and effort imo. (Chance of ban after wasting all the efforts to get a toon to 90, not to mention however much you're spending on a battlechest)
 
With 5 bots you could easily make 100k a week with very little effort. WOD changes the game in that people don’t need gold like they used to and everyone has everything they need if they aren’t lazy. I bot pretty casually and I’ve been making about 40-60 a week with one account.


1) My bot is going if I’m playing on my main…so 2-4 hours a day. Weekends I’ll generally leave it going all day if I’m leveling a new character. Currently I have 11 lvl 100s on one account.

2) I mainly just do garrison stuff. 10 of my characters are focused on tailoring, 1 on leather (I hate that skinning is still a primary skill), most have mix of BS, enchanting and alchemy.

-I farm fur a few days a week to keep up with the tailors.
-I gather every resource from my garrison every day
-Once a week I make 10 bags (10 bags average about 30k profit)
-I make 5-6 epics a week (This varies because 640 items are cheap but generally make (10-20k)
-Once a week I convert all my herbs to flasks (probably 2k a week)
-I make one or two weapon enchants per week (5-10k)
-Generally get about 10-15 bloods from all my characters (10k a week)

Total: 40k (Low end) – 60k (high end)

3) I got banned once in Cata but got my account back. I was using gathering for 4-5 hours a day. After that I never gathered more than 2-3 hours at a time. I also had 3 accounts so about 9 hours a day total across all accounts.


4) I don’t think it matters what pattern you use as long as you aren’t doing the same thing for 8 hours a day.
 
So basically I can just stay in my garrison and make gold? DO I need wod for that?
 
Does anyone quest to make gold? like finishing all northrend zones then cata zones then mop?

days that im bored and nothing going on, i start a new dk. its slow, easy gold. but its also low risk. you can make quite a bit of gold in a couple days and its always good to take a break from the common grind.
 
I started botting to make some gold... just learning evrything the hard way I made about 100k in a month. Then found I had absolutely no real need to have all that gold. I brought a few fancy mounts and now I just play Farmville in my garrison. Gold is really over rated
 
I joined in late MoP and could make lots of gold easily without any knowlege, just used a mining profile and got back the money I paid for WoD and gametime.
After WoD hit I also made a decent amount of gold selling epics but right now I stopped botting for gold.
The price is super low and most ways to earn it are nerfed. Might be worth for people who spend time to get into AH and WoW economy but for me it's not worth it.
No biggie for me though =)
 
If i'm awake my bots are running, if i'm asleep they aren't :)

Well sometimes i leave them on overnight and the next day. Been running them for almost a year now with no warnings or suspensions
 
I used to do various things like 4 hours gundrak, 3 hours MoP dungeons, 3 hours mining and so on but now in WoD i just rushed 5 accs to 90, and 24/7 MoP dungeons, they used to last for @20+- days but that would get m e a lot of profit of what they cost, but now that is dead, blizz bans MoP dungeon accounts in 3 max 4 days, so..... not sure how i'l go from here, definetly not going to start paying 30E for each copy of WoD, thats what not iam going to do and also not going to pay a sub for botting accs ^^, That is waste of money
 
I just got banned 4/5 doing MOP heroics. Lasted 25 Days though and made a decent profit. Would have made more but I was still experimenting with party makeups.
 
I run 5 man teams all the time. I find a 5$ battle chest link and buy a bunch of licenses and run the shit out of them.

But I also dont actually play the game anymore, and just sell all my gold. I get banned from selling faster than I do from running 24/7.. but for 5$ per game, I can still make a decent profit before the banhammer, then turn around and do it again!
