What builds do people bot with?

flicker was always a build I wanted to check out in future

for now facebreaker seems incredibly fun and good for botting so I think im going to start with that

if I get more bots or switch builds later that's fine

I am incredibly surprised though how dead exilebuddy forums seem to be. Demonbuddy forum had a ton of people and D3 feels like its not out of beta yet and theres not even trading in that game.

There is guides set up on this forums to help you get up and running as much as set up and for plug-ins most of the authors have set up a how to. Ask them if are you confused but no one is going to set up the bot for you.

Tornado shot right now averaging around 6-7 minutes a map. I'm thinking a kinetic blaster with high peirce chance will do it faster for around 15 exalt.

Anything flicker will clear fast including crit dagger flicker but are prone to desync.

This pretty much sums up the thread.

Most of the plugins "elitists" (jerks, get the joke) use are private ones, because they're meant to be used by people who know what they're doing and how to troubleshoot/fix things in it.

Usually people ask for things they don't even know how it works. not because they've no experience in this domain, more because they're casual botters. People in D3 used to get banned every now and then, even with no banwaves... And somehow "elitists" as you called them manage to survive because they have this experience.

Don't expect peeps to tell them their secrets, except if they know you're going to use it wisely. Or even improve them. But for this you need knowledge.

80% of the awesome plugins/mods are private builds, you know why?

-> If more people use it and do the same thing, it's gonna get attention. That's not what we want.

As IeU said, the banrate is way way way higher. That's the reason.

So, now you've gotten your build set out and your going to either A. Hand level it a bit (I've told you this that I recommend this) or B. your going to use a plugin. Either one that you select you will need to gear it. Since there isn't an autogearing plugin yet, you will have to swap out gear as you level up. This includes potions. So at this point you should be looking into the section on the forums called PLUGINS to see if there is any plugins for flasks that might improve your flask handling.

Now we have your build, gear and questing solved and your ready to bot end game. HMMMM. I'll take a trip to PLUGINS again on the forum and see if there is a mapping plugin because I have played the game and know that that's the end game. What do you know! there is one!

My build is a bit desyncing..... Plugin for that... I wonder if the bot can use chance orbs.... plugin..... See where I am going with this ? Knowledge of the game is power. If something doesn't exist, make it yourself or PM one of the great coders and pay an arm and a leg and keep it private.

I totally get what you mean. However, this community isn't going to develop any further if no one are helping each other. I know what kind of build you are running as we are speaking more or less daily on Skype about such things, that is a way to help each other aswell.

I don't like the people who are just coming in "HI IM NEW; I BOTTED D3 TEACH ME TO PROFIT IN POE", those persons I cba to help, they should to as mentioned above, playing the game and get a good understanding about what can I do, what will work and what will not. Learning by doing is the most efficient way.

However, it doesn't matter how experienced we are, it is always good to get other peoples input in whatever. Like i asked for suggestions for builds. I have a few in my mind, but it is always nice to see what the community have been doing, and what they can recommend, and then compare to my own. Like I have always wanted a Dual Flame MF'er, but it seems like the routine is quite bad, and as I can't make one myself, I gotta go with one of my other ideas. Dual Strike might be my next project. I had one, got banned very fast, but in the time it was up, it rocked solid. I've learned from my past mistakes about botting 24/7 or botting from level 1, and this will help me get further in the proces.

Other suggestions are welcome for my future builds aswell!

Just curious as I do not even have exilebuddy *YET* but plan on getting it this weekend when I have more time.

Ive used demonbuddy a bunch of times so already kind of understand how exilebuddy works.

So after reading some start guides and such and reading about the routines im kind of wondering what builds people bot with and what they find easiest?

And to be honest you hit the nail on the head. People are GREEDY and want to keep everything for themselves.

On one part I agree with you. No one likes someone coming on here who has never played path of exile and saying hey do everything for me. Set up my bot via teamviewer plz because I don't know what im doing. Then tell me who what when where why. Tell me how to not get banned. Tell me how to make the most money. etc etc.

There is a huge difference between that and general help though. For me personally I have played path of exile for about a month and a half. Is that a very long time? absolutely not. Do I know everything about the game? Absolutely not.

However I have a pretty good understanding. I know atziri, I know drops, I know a handful of builds, I know the game, I know maps etc.

Now for botting, I have never done it. Regardless of whether I have played the game for 2 days or 2 years. So there is nothing wrong with asking people questions and asking for help. I do not plan to mass bot, set up 20 and sell all items for real money. I plan to run ONE bot just to give me some more currency and items so my "purse" can be a little heavier. So asking questions like hey guys what builds have you found work good with bot? is perfectly fine.
You get some ppl who say hey this build works prty good blah blah and then apparently you get some that say OMG IM NOT GIVING MY SECRET BUILD AWAY IT LETS ME FULL CLEAR A MAP 13 SECONDS FASTER, ILL NEVER TELL YOU!

See the difference?

Recently i've been working on modular routine + ranged builds (aka kiting routine).
I've leveled about 7-8 builds this week with this bot, i'll list a few of them feel free to take this with a grain of salt because i have bias against pure melee build.

My main : Crit tornado ranger, Forum - Ranger - [ 1.3 ] Neversink's ? INDEPTH Tornado Guide ? Beginner friendly ? Rapid clear ? Uber Atziri - Path of Exile, adjustment needed in routine to not make it face tank, can bot 78 maps with it, probably the strongest build with some currency. Mobility is good, damage is insane, survivability is insane with kiting mechanic and good gem setup. My bow is a 310pdps 9% harbinger bow. i'd rate it 9.5/10 with EB in term of efficiency with a good routine.

Rest are "experiments"

1) Static strike, dual claw, adaptation of Forum - Shadow - [ 1.3.0 ] Vaal Pact Dual Claw Build Level 92 ( Atziri Viable + BOTW S: 2 EP: 9 ) - Path of Exile, the mass dps/aspd version. The fastest farmer but can't do high end maps. My whirling blade cooldown is 0.2s with this build. My DPS is around 30k. Adjustment in plugins: CustomPlayerMover to use whirling blade, Routine can be used as is. Efficient for : Dominus farming (2-3min per run), Trash map farming. Pretty squishy as it is melee and focus on raw dps. 7/10

2) AA+EB+MoM+CoD Arc witches. [1.3] Arc is so insanly strong with this tree! : pathofexile. Mobility with lightning warp makes it the fast. Really fast. Damage is decent (12k tooltip dps at lvl80), relatively safe, can't do high end maps, not efficient for dominus farming. Good for low tier maps or midnight farming due to mobility. Routine need: default one with modification to do kiting. 6/10

3) Crit ST shadow, find mathil's guide. Mobility is whirling blade although cd on it is around 0.9s. It's ranged so safer than the dual claw build. Routine is default one with modification to do kiting. Good for dominus farm, low tier-medium map (high only if you can find BiS items),midnight. 11k ST tooltip dps before abyssus nerf to st, now it's 8k. 8/10

4) Firetrapper + burn prolif. 10000 guides aobut that. Mobility is meh, lightning warp isn't that fast unless you have quality gems (no cast speed at all on gear/tree), Kiting routine needed, it's pretty fast clearing trash mobs but struggles on every bosses ever, probably my build. I'll use this to farm low level map but it's not efficient for dominus nor midnight farming. Probably more of a currency farmer through maps. 5/10

5) THE HOLY GRAIL : Forum - Scion - [1.3.0]PewPewPews official Starter-Friendly Incinerate Build | Stronger than ever! - Path of Exile , cheap and bot friendly due to the way the cwdt gems are setup. Tanky, HIGH MOBILITY, fast clear. Capable of high end maps, REALLY BUDGET (count 3ex of investment TOTAL to have end game viable build that's including a 5L). A whole new routine was needed for this to make sure it doesn't break the incinerate chain. 9/10

tl;dr: every build can work, pick your focus on what you want your bot to do.
If you want the fastest alt farmer pick something that can chain run dominus and has really high mobility. If you wanna level to 100 pick TS or Incinerate they're safe, tanky, stompy. If you want to farm midnight you need something MOBILE and fast clear. If you wanna farm currency on maps pick good mobility/high aoe damage.
The key to success is to OPTIMIZE the routine for your build because the generic one is as its name implies : generic. It doesn't make best use of your skill.

My next experiment will be a build of my OWN. Made for the BOT only. As in it would be hard to play it efficiently without a AI logic to drive it. I'm thinking of a summoner/animate guardian/animate weapon build.

When the bot comes back up i'll share with you guys some of my "private" routine + plugins i've been working on.
Consider the dynamic chaos plugin + Passive points allocation to finally be here

Hiya Everyone,
Sharing is what makes a community, group grow.
Now what does not make a group, community grow is few people sharing to the mass who are not willing to learn.

To make this argument for the sake of explaining.
If you are not willing to put the time and effort into learning about the game, it's mechanics, heck even playing the game to end game. Then you ask about X and Y which clearly you would know if you did play the game, no one is going to bother to help/share. Why?
They put the time and effort in to know what they know, you did not.
You are saying it's not fair people are not sharing knowledge,
But is it fair for someone who put their time/effort into learning, testing, making mistakes, to just simply share?

If you are asking something reasonable and clearly you have ran into an issue which is not common knowledge, I'm pretty sure someone who read your problem will be more then willing to share.
I know I would, because from reading your problem, I would know if you are someone who has done their homework and ran into an uncommon issue, whereas someone who did not do any homework, goes and says he did only to get fast, easy help.

I'm Sorry, it just doesn't work that way.

But this community as a whole is more then willing to share information/help others.
