Serious FPS drop after update

Hi,

Since the latest update running HonorBuddy seriously affects my FPS lowering it from 120+ to 25. I have tried all solutions I can think of. Disabling addons, different bot bases, profiles, routines, playing with the frame lock and ticks, nothing seams to work. If it stayed at 25 FPS I could probably play but when I raid it can go down to 2 - 3 FPS making it literally impossible to use.

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this as atm I'm out of action and stating to feel like I've wasted my money here.

An update, found an option in the wow settings that has helped, in the system setting there is an option called "Reduce Input Lag" by unchecking it my FPS increases by a bit but not as much as it was still before the update.

Second update,
I have found the issue and have a work around, it's to do with the Frame-lock in Honorbuddy and the reduce input lag option in the wow settings. I found that if I try and turn off the frame-lock in honorbuddy it doesn't run correctly so leave it turned on. Once it's running, attached and started go to wow settings/system/advanced and set Reduce Input Lag to Disabled. Even if it's already set as disabled reselect it as disabled so the apply button un-grays and you can press it. Press apply, after a quick re-load of the screen FPS jumps to almost normal, bot works as normal and all is good again. A bit fiddly I know but it works.

well it's not great, is it?!?!

great, if you need anything else let us know.

Well it's not great, is it?!?!?

My FPS are still much lower since the last update, yes by using the work around it's now JUST playable. We are paying for this so how about you actually do something to fix it instead or writing 9 words in a forum, doing that isn't fixing the problem it's ignoring it and hoping it goes away.

we are on it

Just some extra info for you, with regards to the 'Input Lag Option' it also works the opposite way round, so if its currently disabled and you set it to enabled it fixes the FPS issue and if it's currently enabled and you set to disabled it fixes it. I don't think it works if it's already set to enabled/disabled and you try and reset it to the same setting.

Basically as long as you set it to the opposite setting it's currently set as, it works.

The fix or work around I thought I had actually only works as long as you stand completely still and don't cast or try to do anything. As soon as Honorbuddy starts to try and actually do stuff like moving or casting and causing DMG the FPS drops right back down to 2 or 3 FPS again. How long is it going to take you to fix this, there are so many complaints about it yet it's still not fixed!!!

More updates,

This is the sequence of the problem I've just looked at in more detail,

1. WOW running normally 267 FPS
2. Start Honorbuddy and it attaches 30 FPS
3. Go to Settings and advance and change the Input Lag Setting 267 FPS
4. Start honobuddy 30 FPS
5. Change the input lag settings again, no mater what 30 FPS
6. Stop honorbuddy 267 FPS
7. Start again 30 FPS
8. Run a profile that involves casting/melee dmg 3 FPS
9. Stop the honorbuddy 267 FPS
10 Start Honorbuddy 30 FPS
11. Close honorbuddy while it is started 267 FPS

basically the work around I thought I had only works while the bot is attached and not started, once its started no matter what you do it's 30 FPS not doing anything and 3 FPS doing stuff essentially making it unusable. I only just paid for a lifetime subscription and not been able to use it at all yet because of this bug, really losing my patience now and starting to think about looking into getting my money back.

Can you please open the developer tools, go to the console tab and enter the following line in the console:
Code:
StyxWoW.Overlay.Dispatcher.InvokeShutdown();
Then press the Run button.
