New Patch, bot won't load.

How long does it usually take for the bot to get updated to the new patch? A new patch just came out, and I was wondering if I should keep refreshing or wait an hour or so.
 
You will need to wait for an update to be made. There's no ETA. Random patches with a noticeable change in client size and no patch notes are always treated with extra caution. :)
 
Thanks for the quick reply. I just purchased a key within the hour so I guess I'm a bit more anxious than others to watch it play for me. Haha. Will keep posted!
 
Yeah, this seemed like a pretty sketchy patch. Recent bot topics on the forums tell me that you guys should be careful about new detection methods ext...
 
Can you perhaps link me to some of the threads you mentioned crowned? I'd like to see the community talk about bots. Maybe pm me?
 
i have another questions and i wll use this thread so i wont open a new one cause im also a new to Exiledbuddy how do we apply the new patch for the bot without loosing the previuous settings iv made to the bot and how do i check if there is an update yet?

I would like to know this aswell :) Every time i update i have to copy in autoflask 2.0 and stuckdetection 2.0.
 
The Plugin settings will not be overwritten unless the (user-made) plugin itself is overwritten by the official plugin.

To prevent any third-party plugins to be overwritten by official plugins, you will need to rename the plugin directory and also at least change the directory in "UserControl Control" in the main plugin .cs file (and possibly other directory-dependent lines).

Pushed what do you mean, I didn't see any patch changes other than :

Fixed a bug where exploding Strongboxes would not explode correctly.

There's more, hidden under the surface. Just to Quote Christ Wilson:

The purpose of this patch is mostly that we needed to perform some quick maintenance and had to take the realm down, but while it's down we may as well deploy this long-awaited fix to strongboxes.

Maybe new detection methods, maybe just another serverside tool, maybe just ... a sammich-maker

Keep Calm, let pushedx do his work, dont hurry.
I don't desire the bot to trigger any "trap" like it did in the first place and lose lots of accounts before their time has come, neither i think anyone else will. :)

Guy's when the patch for PoE came out it only had one change, but the patch file in size is suspicious so give the exilebuddy masters some time to be 110% that we don't get a ban for botting
