Hi,
I discovered something yesterday on another forum, maybe it's already well known, in any case, here it is :

To reduce your CPU usage while botting, you can use CDdisabler.

CDDisabler will reduce your cpu usage and memory usage(if you enable memory reduction) by disabling ingame rendering aswell as loading of textures and sounds. This means that you will be unable to visually look at your game while this is active, and thus we recommend you do not use it for purposes where it is important for you to see exactly what your character is doing.

We have however added a few features that will help users detect issues with their character when rendering is disabled. The minimap, aswell as the action bars are still rendered. You will be able to see if your character is moving, or if your character is fighting something, everything else will be black. You have the option of turning off the disabler after enabling it with memory reduction, you will then be able to see the world in lovely acid green colors, and lose much of the cpu reduction but keep memory low.

I just thought that the information should be here, I never go to other forums and I would have liked to find it here way earlier.

Sorry for the necro, but i was searching for some program or method to free some wow memory (was around 800mb) and I found something that might be usefull

Sem título.webp

the program is Razer Cortex (Game Booster)

if anyone else want to try it: Razer Cortex: Game Booster

(sorry that I don't have a previous screenshot to show the memory usage pre-boost)

That looks interesting but 156 doing what exactly? just standing in game? Not to mention razer is a widely known company for their products...

Thanks for the info, HB usage seems about the same but WoW usage seems pretty good I will test it myself when I have some time.

I would be interested in this as well. Let us know how well it works.

Additional software to manage CPU usage is not an efficient way to minimize CPU usage...... irony.
