Hello a friend of mine said that gold selling is now dead because Blizzard is gonna sell gold now and to check MMOchampion.

And idd i found this:

''Tradable game time tokens that you can sell to other players for gold.''

MMO-Champion - World of Warcraft in the New Year, Patch 6.1 Heirloom Changes

New Ways to Play
We’re exploring the possibility of giving players a way to buy tradable game-time tokens for the purpose of exchanging them in-game with other players for gold. Our current thought on this is that it would give players a way to use their surplus gold to cover some of their subscription cost, while giving players who might have less play time an option for acquiring gold from other players through a legit and secure system. A few other online games offer a similar option, and players have suggested that they’d be interested in seeing something along those lines in WoW. We agree it could be a good fit for the game, and we look forward to any feedback you have as we continue to look into this feature.
"exploring"

Regardless, EVE (et al) has had this option for many years. It didn't stop gold (ISK) sellers there. You can still buy currency (ISK) online now. The point is that the game sells currency at a much more expensive rate leaving room for others to undercut them. So in EVE you can buy a month of game time (a PLEX) for $15 which converts to around 800M ISK give or take. That's 800M for $15. The currency whores will sell you a billion for $12.

So Blizzard's "exploring" this option may make gold-selling less profitable, but it won't eliminate gold selling entirely because there will likely be some bored genius who can produce copious amounts of gold and sell it cheaper than Blizz. OTOH, it will make more money for Blizz and it may reduce the number of bots in WoW, which may hurt Bossland some.

I don't know but i hope blizzard turn 180 degrees on this.

I really worries me that they killed gold selling for good with this. I don't know who in the right mind would now buy gold from china if they can just sell time tokens.
If token to gold is idd high enough gold selling would survive but if not GG.

its not gold sell from blizzard its new item called "Tradable game time tokens" can be purchased by player with real mony & sold for GOLD
as blue post sayed in blizzard forum its good for ppl play less time & Need Gold

No not really. As someone that needs gold can just buy the Token from Blizzard and then sell it to someone else for gold.

Except lazy players will always be lazy players and instead will just want fat amounts of gold without going thru the trouble of having to put it all together with tokens or w/e

Gold selling might be dead, but gold buying isnt. I am loving these prices. I have never used the bot to get gold to sell, its always just been a way to help me play the game (ie...raiding and questing). So if these gold prices affect me in anyway, its a positive affect. I came into the new expansion with 110k saved up, with all the garrison expansions, I quickly went broke. Now I just restocked 100k for 52.00
