[Plugin] GildaStarryStars - Blue Salt Brotherhood daily quests

yeah I'll check the 3rd vase as well during my next run tomorrow

Edit: no issue for 3rd vase, if the area was quite filled, can you wait a few minutes next time until it prints something in log? (it can be a bit slow atm, I'll speed up the vase scanning in next version)

And for the return to main city, I still haven't figured out why it's unable to get back to Austera, it's pretty much raising the last mount on top of the path. The only thing I can think of is that the path is too long, but it's barely more than 600 points (and with just a few intersections) so it shouldn't have any issue finding a way back home... Only thing I can suggest atm is either to finish manually or set your recall in Austera to get back there (then it should work)

The return trip issue is weird. It's at StableMount2 on the east side. It's able to fubda path to StableMount1 on the south side, but every other point fails to return a path (even VaseWind that's quite closer). I triple-checked the path and it's all connected fine (obviously since it makes the trip fine from Austera).

I'm a bit lost on that one, it's the first time I get such an error on pathing while the path file is valid :/

Today i have done my first test run with using the mount all the way, starting in Austera in front of the quest givers. If you do not forget to configure your mount it works fine. I only did teleport back to Austera, and this worked as well.

Couldn't grow up the mounts first because i had no Vita Root. But i could go to the vendor, buy the seed, use it and restart your script.

The 3rd vase was a bit wired:
Starting GpsMove to VaseDawn
Trying to place the vase at (22124,2, 8502,37000000002)
Starting GpsMove to VaseWind
Failed to summon or use the mount

Do you remember if the first attempt to drop the vase wind failed because of something else being too close or the bot trying to place it outside of the quest area?

And good idea for vita seeds, I'll have to check where the vendor is to see if I can grow some rather than have the bot sit there doing nothing if you forget to stock up (and afk during the run)

If i remember right, then it tried to place the vase outside of the quest area (at first attempt) and i got an error message that this placing there is not possible.
 
This is a very good plugin makes life a lot easier only problems I have run into are....

Bad pathing. A lot of the time it runs in the middle of the road so always getting run over by carts from players and also the carriage. So I find my character quite often getting stuck on the carriage and it drags me forever then the character has to run all the way back to the last point before it will continue looks extremely botty. It's better to keep pathing to the edge of the road or just off the side of the road so you don't run into things near as much. Most people who do trade runs are going down the middle of the road so creates a big problem.

second problem I ran into is some of the pathing runs through the middle of monsters. For a lvl 30 this is really bad since some of the mobs use Earthen Grip and pull my character off the mount and I've even had them kill my mount before my character could get away. Not so bad for a lvl 50 if your mount is lvl 35+ it can take hits better but on the lvl 30 with only a lvl 25-28 mount it still dies pretty easy to dewstone mobs.
 
I tested version 1.2 beta today.
I am running windows 8.1 on an old QuadCore 2.4GHZ, 4GB RAM, and a GeForce GTX 750Ti
Needless to say, I experience substantial LAG at times...

With a stack of Chopped Vegetables, Water, and Vita Root in my pack
Edited .cs with my mount name "Mirage Elk"
Compiled, and ran while my Character was standing near the Blue Salt dudes.

Ran through all the quests with no problems. Some slight loopy behavior in pathing due to my lag.
After completing last stage of the second mount i got the following error:

Ran into some issue during a test run on east side with 3rd vase as well, was due to too many vases around (which made bot just hang around until space freed up), I'll test with a larger area for that vase tomorrow. At least vase scanning is faster in my test version, so it quickly prints that it can't find space rather than make you wonder if it's stuck or not.

For west pathing, I'll also try to do a few edits tomorrow.

And that error is related to the issue the bot has to pick up a GPS path after raising last mount (even with 16GB RAM I still get the "Out of a Memory") and still no idea what the problem might be. For now I'll just make sure that it actually stops rather than try to turn in quests in Falcorth :D And if you make your own path for the east side, I'm interested to know if plugin manages to find a way home after last mount.
 
I am not really good at coding, so sometimes it takes me longer to figure things out. That saying, it would be REALLY nice to have a bit of this as a widget - perhaps making the teleport locations "check-marked" option on a widget so you don't have to run EVERYWHERE.

I think the running every where is awesome! I'd much rather leave it afk and let it run to all the spots to level up my mount.
 
By the way the part where it runs to the west of Royster's camp is where my character always gets pulled off the horse by the stupid wizard monsters in that area and they kill my mount most of the time. It's extremely annoying. Any other mobs is not a problem but those bastards using earthen grip to get you off mount makes this a headache for me.
 
Pathing hiccups, but well done overall.

Ran a fresh Version 1.2B-West last night and it went pretty well. Options I used were all teleports, and I renamed my mount. Also, I corrected the version number in mine. ;)

  • Initial pickup had a pathing hiccup that self corrected.
  • Another pathing hiccup at Roadsend Post, I had to correct this one.
  • All three Vase drops worked very well, no issues.
  • The teleport for Gweonid and for Wardton are still a little finicky, I have stop the plugin, open the portal myself, then re-start the plugin. Plugin picks up where it left off and completes both animal raisings completely after this however.
  • Quest turn-in has the same pathing hiccup as the Initialpick-up.


Overall, very, very good and as you said, pathing is a little rough, but overall, quite a nice plugin, thank you.
I will be manually pathing a personal sort of route this evening and will report back in two days with an update!

EDIT: If the teleport issue happens again, I'll grab the actual error log, but the error I recieve for either Gweonid or Wardton is:

Obviously replacing the portalName with either or.

Anybody seing this error: Error during GpsMove: GpsCantFindNearestPoint. I'm guessing its a limitation/error in GPS built-in system.
I'm standing right on top of a point but still GPS is unable to find a path to StableMount1 from ItemsPickup. :(

this also happens even not in the return trip. if for example i stop the plugin script and resume, it can no longer find the path to the next destination. I also checked the path file using GPS Editor if there are broken links. The path file looks good though. :(
 
Running the west path a bit to make some edits to fix it a bit (update coming later tonight) and one good news so far: plugin was able to pickup quests for me once again, so I assume Out fixed some things in recent AB patches :D

Edit: posting the updated path here rather than update the plugin yet, a few more things I want to change in code before doing so. Here are the changes for west path:
- Goes around caster mobs properly in Dewstone Plains
- New path from Dawn to Fog vases in Lilyut, should save a bit of travelling time
- Changed VaseFog & VaseDawn waypoints to get off the mount quite closer to vase areas
- Smoothed a corner on the way to gweonid

Just replace the old one with the one attached to this post if you want to test, and if you do please tell me if it works out better for you!

Ran another test on the East side using my own path file. The return route went perfectly. end-to-end test went through with no errors.
The 'System.OutOfMemoryException' problem must be the path you include in your download.

Again, excellent work man!
 
Good to know the plugin works fine on east side with another route. Any chance you could post a global view of your route (like the one in my previous post) to see if there is something totally different about it? (or just say if something seems different)

At least it looks like it will be worth it for me to record another path for the east side.
 
how many gildas i can farm per day with this profile?
