HB kept stopping and poofing after a few times trying to quest, couldn't figure out why.

Went through the logs and found this

attempting to google the error showed that this has happened in the past and its server communication problem.

I attempted a fresh install and get the same issue.

I'll post the whole log but I'm pretty sure quoted above is what you need

Another edit:

It has been running for an hour+ now smoothly, been monitoring it closely. Not sure if it will happen again or not but seems stable now.

Could this be related to me using a VPN? I recently switched VPN services (to a better one) and this started around that time.

Will run all night and check logs in the morning.


Another update, came to check up on it, it went down again... same error. Appears to happen at random.

I am using Kick's leveling on a fresh install of HB.

Also: I have a few HB keys and I've tried 2 and they both yield the same response.

I was really hoping that was not the issue it connects to a US server and I don't get any packet loss... hmm

Any idea what could be causing this Tony? Do you know of any VPN services at do work 100% with HB? I used pro xpn a while back and that worked great

ideally you shouldn't be using any vpn service as honorbuddy wasnt designed to work with one. and no, we cannot make recommendations.

Just a final update for everyone (in case anyone google's this later down the line at some point and it helps someone)

VPN = no good for HB

Been running 8 hours straight with no issues today. (with my VPN off obviously)
