WoD Gathering - Using GrindBot instead of GB2

In several threads I've seen it stated by the Mods that GB2 isn't intended to be used for herb/mining when using a ground mount and that we should use GrindBot instead.

What is the easiest way to convert all the GB2 profiles to GrindBot profiles?

I've also noticed that when using GB2 for herb/mining, the toon will sometimes just AFK at a node until there has been user intervention, does that still happen to those who have converted the WoD GB2 profiles to GrindBot profiles?
 
Good question, shame noone bothered to answer yet.

I know for a fact that some of my grind profiles work on gatherbuddy and that my gathering profiles work on grind bot.
 
open a gatherbuddy profile and a grindbot profile. they are very similar. you can leave the mob info section blank on a grind profile, and whats left is essentially a gatherbuddy profile.

however, grindbot is a deprecated botbase [correct me CJ if thats wrong]. All developers should at least attempt to use [QO] to take full advantage of the features of HB.

[QO] ?

It's been CodenameG on several threads that's suggested the use of GrindBot over Gatherbuddy2....
