Best class for mining/herb in WoD?

Hello,
Was wondering what the best class is for mining and herbs in WoD?
Can I herb and mine in WoD if the skill is lvl1?
 
Tauren druid with Glyph of Travel would be my bet.

And yes you can. Just be prepared to get a ton of nuggets. If you're trying to get to 600 asap i'd bet that its easier because you can use flying to do it in the old world tho.

You should level to 600 first. Bigger benefit that way.

As for the better class. It really doesnt matter. Just go with whatever you got. Next big patch you will be able to fly in WoD so it will make some changes.
 
Dk and pala are nice for the extra mount speed and yes u can gather from lvl 1 u just get small nodes until u reach a higher level.
 
If you want it to be a pure farmer, Yes Druid is the way to go, as it goes for the Gold

You shuld do 1-600 the normal way if you are interessted at making some gold while lvling, But you CAN start at lvl 1, You need to get 10 of the item you recive to make one pice of ore, There is also some money in this

Instead of just "No." Can you explain why? For example if I'm running a garrison with 5 characters and they all have the mine, and I mine everyday and do workorders every day.... wouldn't I have more than I will ever need?

Because you can only craft/gather the limited recipes/resources that your garrison provides, which with the way it's looking, won't be the best method to focus on (given that everyone and their alts will be able to produce the same stuff as you). If you want to find any other niche in the market, I'd go with a traditional approach. Plus It just seems silly not to have something as basic as a miner/herber to be able to drive your most basic needs in the market scene.

Thanks a lot for the input Guys. I have a issue with my druid, it dosent Mount at all dunno why tho :s
