How do the Devs come to the people that the Dev build is released to?

As the title says, I'm wondering how the Buddy Team works out the list of people that get the Dev build of HB for plugin and CC updating.

The reason I'm asking this, is that I have 2 plugins active on this board, that are supported by me, are updated by me, and i don't seem to have made the list.

This means that if there are any API issues with my plugins, I won't have them fixed when the release version of HB comes out.

So what is the cutoff, do you have to have 3 plugins, 1 plugin and 1 CC, or is it just random, and not based on any system at all.

People who are not part of the buddy team need not reply, however, if you are a plugin or CC dev, and didn't get the build, then please, let me know in here - it'd be interesting to know.

by DEV the mean DEVs that actually work on the BOT. Not so much CC Devs or Plugin Devs, but of course there is some overlap. And some where the intergration (ala DungeonBuddy and other functions) has become part of HB itself. Hawker, Main, Nesox, Raphus, I'm sure I've missed some names, but that's what they're meaning. That's funny, the front page post specifying that the Pre-Dev (Raphus and Erenion) build was released, was updated to say that the Dev build was sent out, for CC and plugin development. ONCE AGAIN, IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE BUDDY TEAM, PLEASE KEEP YOUR SPECULATION TO YOURSELF.

To become a CC Dev or a Plugin dev you have to have the support of the Dev team themselves. If you are not given the title specifically from Bossland you are not one. Just having plugins and CCs does not actually make you a dev. It is something you have to earn.

Simple answer:
Those that need to see it first, get the dev build. End of story

It doesn't matter if you dev CC's, Profiles, help out on the boards, plugins, whatever the case is. The few people that have to test it out to verify that the core agents work get it.

to make it even easier, erenions ah plugin and raphus instance plugin uses the bots movement system and other things that needs to be compatible therefor they need it first =)

if it was possible we would like to give on every developer a dev release
but its not possible for many reasons

this does not mean that we dont respect your hard work on our forums tho
