Well, this question doesnt get any more noob than it already is.

What do some of the acronyms mean in trinity?

I know AoE means area of effect but how is that implemented in trinity?
What is OOC/CD under the crusader tab?
what is RNG i keep seeing on the forums and such?

Don't flame please, i lurk the posts a lot but cannot figure some of the acronyms you guys use.

Ooc ????? CD cool down RNG most of the time meaning blizzard uses a random number generator to decide loot

OOC = out of combat

 

[Winchester]

Area Of Effect - AOE
Damage Over TIme - DOT
Random Number Generator - RNG
Out of Combat - OOC , triggers skill even if there is no mobs around
Cool Down - CD
