so i have been botting for a while ( about 1.5 years) and played wow by hand for 7 years all on my pc. i recently bought a macbook air and was thinking about botting on it.

im a college student so if i only used my PC i wouldn't have a lot of time to monitor the bot making me only be able to bot while at my room. if i bot on my mac i can keep a 95-100% monitoring time.

my question is as follows. ^^^ aside, is there a difference in ban rates from "detection" or any other non noob behavior between PC or a macbook.

i haven't seen anything recently on the threads about this and didnt want to hop on my mac to get instant banned or something.

You would have to install Windows on your MBA as Honorbuddy is not OSX Compatible, but I think you should be fine. But no one knows how or why blizz bans accounts/their process, So its a total crapshoot.

Since he can't run HB on OSX, there's exactly the same ban rate as its exactly the same.

As far as I'm aware there wouldn't be a difference, except in performance.

Your only option to bot in OS X is to run VMware and run a windows installation (this is why I mentioned the only difference would be performance)

Many people do this.

As for botting and not monitoring, i'd have an account that you solely use for botting, or just come to terms with the chance that you're always taking a chance by botting, so if WoW's your main source of entertaining and/or you don't want to lose the account, then don't bot.
