Curious about banning

So i recently got back into WoW and with it i got back into botting. I quit in Cata and used lazybot then. I got a perm ban for grinding, but i petitioned it and got it removed instantly.I never used the grinding part of the bot again, then ran farm bot for a few months. I just came back and since lazybot is not a thing anymore i bought honorbuddy. A quick question i have is how much "safer" (its botting so its not safe i know) questing bot to grinding bot. Also is it worth getting another account to transfer my characters to, since my current account had a ban removed and they might not be as nice if i get caught again. Or since its been 3 years since my last ban would they most likely just give me a 3 day suspension

In theory questing is "safer" because it looks way more human but on the other hand questing is extremely more complex than grinding and there are a lot of more things that could go wrong which could make you stick out like a sore thumb.
I'm currently quest botting a couple of characters and because HB isn't in a release state at the moment there are a lot of things that could go wrong so I only quest bot if I know I can monitor it or at least check on it once in a while.

And regarding your previous bans, that's kinda hard because it usually depends on the person that bans you if they care about previous bans or not.
Do what you think feels most safe, bans these days usually net 72~ hours if its the first one and that's usually guaranteed so transfer if you aren't feeling risky but hey, botting is risky in general~
